Vacation rentals with a kayak in Jefferson County

Everything was perfect in the house and the views were amazing.

Good location with peaceful surroundings. Not far from attractions and tours (15 min drive).

My girlfriend, myself and our friends stay at sandy creek was extremely enjoyable, we honestly had no complaints nor suggestions for the house. The house is situated nicely away from the neighbors letting you enjoy your own time on the lake and the fishing (for myself not my friend) was exciting catching a few big large mouth and pickerel. The house was clean, the views were nice, and we would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The three-bedroom, two-bathroom house was clean, spacious, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms were thoughtfully supplied with plenty of toiletries, towels, and even hairdryers, which was a really nice touch. The kitchen had everything we could want—including a Keurig with coffee pods. The location on the water was absolutely stunning, providing peaceful views and a great spot to unwind. There was a shed full of games like cornhole, which added to the fun, and while we didn’t get a chance to use the pedal boat or kayaks, it was great knowing they (and life preservers) were available for us. Overall, a perfect getaway spot—we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Mary is a fabulous host. Very responsive and helpful. The house was perfect for our family’s needs. Very well equipped and clean. It’s a great location close to Alex Bay and Clayton. Quiet and easy to access.

we had a small family reunion with siblings, and cousins not seen or hugged in decades. This property was simply perfect for a large family. Everyone had their own bed, towels, etc. The home is well insulated and the house is clean. We had sufficient hot water for showers etc. The coffee pot pretty much ran most of every day. It has a nice big fridge. The view and the beach are spectacular and the beach is very walkable. We would definitely recommend this property and we would definitely rebook with Michelle in the future.

The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

This property is stunning. There are many fire pits and hammocks on the grounds. The swimming pool is clean and luxurious. The kayak availability is a great amenity. All very casual here which is a plus. I had a very nice stay.

While it would be easy to stay right there in this cozy cottage on beautiful Pillar Point , it is also a great location to go out and explore. Parks, hikes, restaurants, boat tours, and more are a close distance. We did Clayton for shopping and lunch at Bella’s, lunch in Sackets at 1812, Uncle Sam’s 2 National boat tour in Alex Bay, Salmon River Falls, and Robert Wehle State Park in Henderson. Erin was an excellent Host!!

Staying here was an amazing experience from the time we arrived, until the time we left. Chris, Melissa and Betsy always responded to my questions and went above and beyond the call of duty meeting and exceeding our needs. The place is cozy and comfortable. The views from the living room are amazing and we don't normally bring our dogs with us, but since the dog sitter fell through, we had to bring them. We were concerned about how they would acclimate and it only took a few minutes before they knew they were home! I was stunned. They had some nice touches like a huge Keurig with the pod and coffee maker, coffee filters, sugar, half & half, Dunkin' (Dunkaine') ground coffee and a water cooler. DG Market is only eight minutes away, so grocery shopping was easy, and Sackets Harbor is a quick drive away If you want to get away from it all (but still have cable and wifi of course), recharge the batteries, get some R&R, I HIGHLY recommend staying here. We look forward to coming back soon.

We loved our stay in Buck Bay. The weather was great and we enjoyed the dock and kayaks that were provided. We will be back!

Absolutely love this little retreat! Peaceful, cozy and relaxing. Nice getaway with nature.

We rented 2 of the cabins for Labor Day weekend. it was nice to relax by the fire with friends even though we did have a bit of rain one day. We did some shopping in Cape Vincent and made it up to Abay to enjoy the Blues festival.

This is a fantastic property. If you are looking for a secluded cabin with modern touches & amenities, look no further. The cabin is perched on a small knoll overlooking scenic Grass Lake, giving it what might be the most scenic view of the whole lake! Clean, comfortable and inviting. This cabin is recently built, has a ton of character, and is well cared for. Tony was very accommodating at check-in and check-out. As this place is "off the grid", it does require that you understand how to use a generator and gas lights....not that difficult, but worth knowing up front. Tony will show you how to manage. If my crew gets back to the 1000 Islands Area, we'll be disappointed if we can't again spend time at Forever Wild Camp.

Really good spot. Actually felt comfortable and clean unlike a lot of other Airbnbs. The place had solid and comfortable furnishings. It was quiet and peaceful. Would stay again.

Great place lots of room for big families to enjoy

michael was amazing with his responsiveness and checking in everyday through messages to make sure we were all good and if we needed suggestions on things to do in the area with our dogs!! they were super friendly, the cabin was beautiful and looks brand new, the screened in porch was our favorite part to relax day and night without bugs bothering us and the huge yard to watch the stars / let our dogs run around was just another plus!! i highly highly recommend staying with michael and if you’re looking for a peaceful, private, beautiful place to stay in the 1000 islands, look no further!! thanks again for being the best hosts & going above & beyond!! :)

Matt and Rebecca are incredible hosts and super-helpful. We brought our boat and it was so nice to use the dock in front of the house! The house and its construction are such a cool family story and you can tell they put their hearts and souls into its construction. The beach area was a hit with the kids. I would most definitely stay here again.
