Experience the laid back, friendly lifestyle of Thorntown, IN while having access to Indianapolis and Lafayette! Take a walk or bike the ten-mile heritage trail. Walk to Stookey’s for drinks and food! More restaurants and bars are a ten minute drive. Sugar Creek Art Gallery next door. Downtown Indy, Children’s Museum, and Indpls Motor Speedway are each 35-40 minutes. Purdue University is 28 miles. A percentage of reservation fees are donated toward housing for refugees, evacuees, and homeless.

We are: 7.1 miles (10 minutes) from Indianapolis international airport. 18 miles (26 minutes) from downtown Indianapolis, 17miles (20 min drive) from Indianapolis convention center and Lucas stadium. 35 miles (52 minutes) from Indiana University in Bloomington. ~3 miles from I-70. You will find a sense of peace and feel like you are in another world, all while being right in the middle of Indianapolis! Explore the river on the kayaks, bask in the sun, take in the wildlife. This river getaway is unbelievably unique. Your body and mind will thank you for staying here! Within two miles of anything you may need.

Florence Cottage~Modern Country

Relax with the whole family at Florence Cottage. Brand new home- quaint, quiet, and a great mix of country charm with stylish design. The house offers 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. The master suite has its own spacious master bathroom. Bedroom 2 and 3 are furnished with queen beds. Bedroom 4 offers a bunk bed. The home sits on an acre with stately mature trees, a fabulous front porch to take in the sunrise & then a new deck overlooking the large back yard boasting amazing sunsets at night!

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Red House Guesthouse

Relaxing guesthouse in peaceful country setting with local deer herd visiting frequently. Close to Shades and Turkey Run State Park and Wabash College. Great location for Covered Bridge Festival, and wedding venues. We live on site with our 2 chocolate Labradors. The guesthouse has a private entrance and private outdoor deck facing the woods. Entire living space is handicapped accessible including large bathroom with walk in shower. Cleaning is in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Groceries and dining are just 5 minutes away. Just under an hour to Indy.

We look forward to welcoming you to a private suite that is the guest quarters in our home. You’ll have a private entrance & 3 rooms to yourself. There’s a living room with a table and chairs, a bedroom with a queen-size bed - nightstands, dresser and closet space with hangers for your use - and a newly remodeled full bathroom. There’s also a kitchenette in the hallway which is an antique Hoosier Cabinet equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot, and hot water pot.

The lodge is a very private/secluded setting located on 62 wooded acres. Everything nature has to offer is just outside the door. Enjoy the trails, garden ponds, or just relax on the porch and listen to the birds sing all day long. Inside you will find all the comforts of home along with fireplace, cabin decor, and walk-in shower with unlimited hot water. Perfect place for a couples romantic getaway or gatherings for holidays, bachelorette/bachelor party, and more.

Enjoy a small, but polished bungalow built in the 1930s. 2 bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, fenced private yard, and great location to all things racing and Indy! 5 Short miles to downtown & a 15 minute drive to the convention center. 1 dog is welcome!
