Vacation rentals with a patio in James River

The perfect place to stay in Elizabeth City. It's convenient to everything in town, parking was a breeze, and the place is well furnished and appointed.

Very close to Busch Gardens as stated and easy to find. The home was very clean and had lots of brochures for nearby activities and restaurants. Everyone including myself stated having had great sleep. The host is very easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Five stars! This airbnb was home away from home. When we first got there I wandered from room to room admiring all the decor. It’s even cuter in real life! We were in town for a wedding and decided to make a trip of it and that is how we landed in Staunton. There’s a lot of stuff to do in the area. I would highly recommend The Queen City Hideaway!

We stayed for a volleyball tournament. We were able to get there by walking in under 10 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The canal walk is close and there is a playground across the street.

This was such a lovely place to stay, very convenient to lots to do but also very quiet and peaceful. Melissa was so nice. A great stay!!!

It all comes down the moment you walk through the door! We parked in the back of the house off the alley, a bit tricky to figure out at first, entered the door code and entered a fabulous space. The kitchen was bright, cheerful and clean. The air conditioning was cranked on, thankfully as it was a hot humid day. The big question was which of the 2 bedrooms? We chose the bedroom near the living space, figuring the front bedroom on Main Street could be noisy…though the neighborhood ended up being quiet. Alyssa and Donnie seemed to think of all our potential needs. The wi-fi was easy to connect to our devices, the kitchen was well organized, the bathroom was stocked with soaps, plenty of towels (wash, hand, bath and makeup) even the pantry had a few staples. Overall, I would rate the experience as EXCELLENT, from the first moment to the last. We will definitely stay here again on the next visit to Richmond.

Damon is a 10 star host who makes you feel welcome in his home from the first interaction to the last. He is always responsive and genuinely cares about your stay! Damon’s home is perfect in every way and we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!! You will love it!

Dwayne created a very thoughtful and comfortable space inside and out. We even got a chance to enjoy a thunderstorm on the covered front porch. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard. Would love to return.

The aesthetics of the house is also so natural and relaxing. There was no need to stress out about anything because the house came fully equipped. The walking path down to the river was also so beautiful! We cannot thank them enough for such a memorable time!

This was an awesome experience! The place was so comfy and roomy! We loved using the hot-tub! It was clean and her hospitality was over the top! We will definitely book with her again if we are in the area and recommend it to our friends!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Randolph’s mountain getaway! The space was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—just the perfect escape from the noise and busyness of everyday life. Randolph was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and helpful! He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and offered great local tips in his guidebook. Great place to stay because you're just a few short blocks away from Cary Street, where there are lots of great stores and restaurants. We walked over several times to get coffee and go to a restaurant, and then shopping the next morning. The apartment is not "new" -- it's in one of the many old houses that line the street. But it was fun and had some character. The bed might be a little soft for some people, but I was comfortable.

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!

Communication was great, the location was nice and the description of the facility was spot on. It was roomy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

No ghosts were seen or felt despite being a civil war hospital. Super cute place! Whoever decorated it did a lovely job… those vertical stripes on the walls and all white paint make the basement apartment feel large and airy despite having only a few small windows. Host was very nice and responsive with questions.

Comfortable place in a great location. Rooftop deck has great views of the neighborhood and sunset. Place was comfortable and clean, with character, fitting for an old city building, like old tile fireplaces and gas lamps, heart pine floors. Loved it!

Wonderful host! Cozy, relaxing setup. We are moving to Texas and needed a place to stay for a week after the movers came to our home. This Airbnb was so nice, I would live in it full time! Very kind and sweet host as well!
