Historic Powhatan Resort is a great place to stay. Clean, beautiful grounds. Pool was lovely, plenty of space, kids side and adults side. Nice Staff. Perfectly located for exploring the area. Close to groceries, good resaurants. Very quiet when we were there, but it probably depends on who is placed next to you. The unit itself was HUGE for 4 of us. We all had our own space if we wanted it. Clean upon check in, some where and tear. Beds very comfy. Kitchen was appointed with just enough tools to function, if you like to cook bring your extra tools and supplies. Ants and millipedes came into the unit at the end the trip, but I assumed it was due to the rains. Locals appreared unphazed, so I guess its a Virginia thing. Tania was responsive on the few questions we had. Totally recommend!!

Family-friendly resort in a central location to all that Williamsburg has to offer. Very spacious rooms.

It was the most relaxing place to stay. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. We will go back.

We stayed in the Patriot Suite and the King Size Bed was AWESOME!!! Amy & Paul were great Host and made you feel like family. We even went to church with them and were highly blessed! Thank you Amy & Paul for everything!!! We highly recommend staying there! Nancy & Randell

Close to most things you'd want to do in a visit to wmsbg. Very clean and we loved using the indoor heated pool at the aquaticcenter and would love to stay again in warmer weather to enjoy other family friendly amenities

Joseph was a great host, very quick response back. The Resort is perfect for a family, lots of activities. Even my oldest one college did a crafting session with her younger brothers. WaterCountry is literally right next door barley a 2 minute drive. Brush Gardens is about 5 min drive away from the resort. The place was perfect for a family of 6. Everyone had there own space, had everything we needed for a kitchen.

For a trip to Busch Gardens, this was perfect. Took less than 10 minutes from leaving the unit, to being parked at Busch Gardens. Susie was very proactive with instructions, the unit was clean and pleasantly decorated, some thoughtful snacks and waters were provided, and the surrounding resort grounds were beautiful. As other reviewers have pointed out, the walls are fairly thin and you hear a lot of noise from the surrounding units. Luckily this never was a nuisance for us during our stay, but we feel like it has the potential to be depending on the neighbors. Besides that one concern, our stay was great! We would definitely choose Susie's listing again!

The property was beautiful and exactly as listed. It is an excellent spot for family vacations with plenty to do. We will definitely be returning.

Nice rental in Williamsburg and lots of fun stuff to do at the resort. Second timing staying here and we’ve never been disappointed.

We did enjoy our stay. Only warning for this unit is it is upstairs and the entry door is downstairs. If have a toddler might want to bring a child's gate to keep them from going/falling down the stairs. Other than that highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time. My son fished every day (we took his boat). I went with him last evening ,caught 5 bass between us. Got to our favorite pizza place (fabios) best pizza we know of. Played minature golf on premises, fun. The place was very nice with everything you could need except for food. Thanks Allen. Ruth

Gordon and Lilly were great. They reached out well in advance to ensure that we had the proper documentation needed to check into the resort. The unit was clean and offers great space for the price, and is centrally located in the Williamsburg area. Quick access to the parks, historical sights, restaurants, and the highlight of the trip - The Wagsters Magic Theatre.

The owners are very nice and friendly couples. We enjoyed their daughter performance some songs at night to entertain us. We felt like home and will visit again.

A beautiful historic building right in the heart of downtown Harrisonburg. Highly recommend for anyone visiting JMU and wanting to explore the downtown area.

A great place with lots of room inside and outside as well. Located in a historic neighborhood that is like stepping back in time. It was very clean and well organized and had everything we needed.

Nice, clean place. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 kids. Short drive to restaurants. ~15 min to Busch Gardens. Nice property with things for the kids to do.

this place is not what you expect and that is a good thing the pictures on the Airbnb website do it no justice the pictures are beautiful but the home itself is way more beautiful than what you expect you're getting more than your money worth staying here.

One of the best Air BnB I've stayed at. The house gave off an amazing antique vibe. very well maintained, clean, and so much to experience in the home. Literally steps away from Main St. The Chelf Room has a porch which is perfect for morning coffee and the morning train comes rolling by. An excellent stay.
