The place looks exactly like the pictures – the sea view is a 10/10! Communication with Ovi was super easy and fast. He gave us direct tips on where to eat or buy groceries. We especially recommend getting fresh fruits and vegetables at the small stalls nearby and enjoying breakfast on the terrace or balcony. A highlight is the sandbank – just 5 minutes along the beach on the right. It is at low tide and is then particularly beautiful to explore. The airport transfer via Ovi costs $45, more than a normal taxi, but the driver knows the way to the accommodation – which many others do not. You should consider whether it is worth the extra charge. Overall highly recommended!

There are a lot of Villas in Zanzibar, but there are not a lot of hosts like Sonia. And so staying at her villa was one of my best experiences in Zanzibar, and it’s my 4th visit to the Island. The villa is Pristine, the pool is crystal clear and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s plenty of light; you wake up to bird sounds in the morning and the way the sunrise streams into the house in the mornings is just beautiful. The beach is just a little walk through the village and I personally enjoyed watching and chatting with the locals. Sonia and her partner were always happy to help and provide recommendations for everything we needed. The icing on the cake is the complimentary pick up service. We were a group of 6 and we had enough space to all spend time together, and time apart. I will be back for sure.
