Our party of 11 so enjoyed our stay at the castle! The pictures are extremely accurate, but nothing compared to seeing it in person for the first time. It was stocked with everything we needed, especially everyday things for cooking, towels, blankets, etc. The walk up/down can be tough, but after the first couple of days we adjusted fairly well. All very worth it for such a unique experience and stay!! We also loved exploring the town of Settimo Vittone and the surrounding area. Karl was an excellent host and communicator, as well as Moreno and his wife. :)

It was Giulia's mother who welcomed us and she was very kind and managed to make herself understood despite the fact that she spoke little French. Giulia was super understanding for the next morning because we left later than 10 a.m. (the scheduled check-out time) and she let us take the time to get ready. I highly recommend it because the sofa bed is very comfortable and the house really has a lot of charm! Typical house in the Aosta Valley.

It was super nice to stay with Nella! Pretty apartment, amazing terrace and super close to the local climbing site. Highly recommendable!
