Vacation rentals with beach access in Isle of Lewis

It was a beautiful, quiet though it’s situated beside a road and complete stay. Bed was perfect. Location was great too. Near to all the attractions we were going to. Parking was easy. Host was friendly. We had a lively stay and rest. I truly recommend this place. Thanks.

Christine and Howard were exceptional hosts. Their generosity was more than anything one could wish for . The breakfast the welcome basket, there was so much to choose from . We felt right at home and very comfortable from the start and they were both ready to help and support in anyway. Howard is a mind of information and brilliant to chat to , he was very helpful and gave us lots more of information of where to go on our walks. Thank you Christine and Howard x

Dry Island is totally unique. We were blessed with the most amazing weather during our stay - so walking over the floating bridge was like walking to another world. Amazing views every way you look. Ian the host is very easy to communicate with and helpful. We were with a family group staying elsewhere in the area, and so didn’t take advantage of a shellfish safari - which would be great.

We had a lovely stay in the annexe - which is actually a lovely one bedroom house. It was immaculate when we arrived and we loved the furnishings. The shower was great - double shower with rainforest shower head. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept so well. Lighthouse and lovely beach just along the road but there are glorious beaches all over the island - stunning! Highly recommend Joanne’s ‘annexe’ which was just lovely to head back to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. Thank you for letting us stay 😁

Beautiful, comfortable room in a castle! Lovely luxurious break from camping. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Great for exploring Stornaway for a night. Wished we stayed longer!

Our host Christina was fantastic. She helped us check in with our luggage and was really friendly and knowledgeable. Loved staying in the castle. We are definitely coming back next year.

We had a wonderful few days at Sarah’s place in Shieldaig. A fabulous location and perfect accommodation. Really comfortable and well equipped. Sarah was the ideal host - welcoming and hospitable and we would highly recommend her home. We enjoyed it very much.

Its remote, and eating out is not possible after 19:00, bokings esential, drive over the hils is hard

Lovely little house, Ideal local in the village and lots of lovely places locally to visit. The house is well equipped with all the essentials you need,beds lovely and comfortable,large garden area which suited us with the dogs Would go back tomorrow,the view every morning when you get up will not be forgotten

We had a fantastic holiday, everything we needed was at the Croft cottage. Wendy was a fantastic host, it was my husbands 60th birthday and he very much appreciated the gift that was left for him. It waa his first time on the Isle of skye and Wendy had made it special for him. Absolutely stunning views and the sunsets were amazing! we sat out in the garden listening to the birds and watching the sheep when they turned up in the early evening. Also we were very lucky to watch a Stag on our last day right in front t of the cottage. So much more different things to, so we will be back to continue to explore! If you get a chance to stay you will not regret it. Thank you Wendy

I cannot recommend Sally’s AirBnB highly enough. The location is superb, so peaceful with views out to the harbour from the private garden and the private parking was a god send. The house is spacious and has everything you need and Portree is a great base for exploring Skye and the Highlands and Islands. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was worth every penny! Sally is a great host, easy to get a hold of and sorts things out quickly.

FANTASTIC spot! Highly recommend! Right in the heart of Skye! Steep hill walk up from the center of Portree but well worth the brief exercise. Spotless place, obviously well-kept and loved.

We had an excellent week staying at the Old Shop. The accommodation was very comfortable and was finished to a very high standard. Everything we could have needed was supplied. Robin & Michelle were very friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend this accommodation and if, or when, we return to Uist we will certainly try to stay at the Old Shop again.

A beautiful little place in the peaceful setting of Port Ness. Chris was very helpful with detailed instructions so finding the place, getting in and figuring out heating etc was super easy. The house is spotless, well decorated, quiet and comfortable - all you can ask for. Walking distance to Eoropie beach and about 40 minutes drive from Stornoway, which adds to the quiet experience. Highly recommended and would stay again

Great little spot, having a photo of the place was key to finding it as Google didn’t have the right location on the street 🤣🤣. Warm, peaceful place. We were not used to the short nights though only dark from 11pm till 4:30am 🤣🤣. Was perfect for the four adults & 2 kids and perfectly located to explore every corner of Lewis & Harris. Iain & Fiona had the cutest little basket of Scottish goodies for us to try. Thank you we had a fantastic stay.

We had a great stay at the house with all the equipment and facilities anyone could need. The location was brilliant for us, and Richard's helpful tips and advice about local eateries, shops etc were very welcome. He had provided a delicious and very generous treat in the refrigerator on arrival, which not only did we really appreciate, but it meant we sought out the local products to take back as gifts! My wife and I stayed with Diana number 10 as part of our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We could not be more pleased that we stayed here. Diana is an incredibly welcoming and gracious host. The accommodations themselves were clean, organized, and spacious with a well stocked kitchen with all equipment you would need to cook. The location itself is incredible and access to the hide makes for a perfect place to enjoy a book in a quiet secluded place. This is a truly special place which I would highly recommend to others.

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!

What an amazing place to come and stay! Not sure where to begin with the praise for this place. Hosts were amazing, everyone we met was outstanding and the landscape speaks for itself. We had some strong winds and rain during our stay and in some way that added to our experiences on this trip! 100% recommend.

A very stylish, comfortable, warm and cosy place to stay with views of Skye, weather permitting. Sorry it couldn’t be longer. Love the decor, very comfy lounge and bed.

We had a lovely stay at Sam's apartment. We really enjoyed being somewhere so beautiful and peaceful. The apartment is very well equipped. Sam met us on arrival and was very helpful.

Stayed at Lag Nam Muc as base for our Isle of Skye adventures and everything went well. Great location that was easy to find and very walkable to the Portree shops and restaurants. Rachel reached out well before our stay to prepare us for need for restaurant reservations and this was very helpful. Place was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay again next time I visit.

The house was clean and tidy and had all the utensils for cooking food. What a nice peaceful location to stay. Onie was very helpful and accomodating for my friends and I.
