Vacation rentals with a kayak in Island of Palms

The cottage is in a great location by the river. The house had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay in this great place. We will definitely come back.

We had a great time. Kids loved fishing and kayaking the river. Great place to get away. Monica was a great hostess and quickly to respond left some yummy bread and quiche that was so needed after getting in late for checking and already have breakfast made. And the fresh eggs. This place was 10 outta 10 kids already want to return

Beautiful location. Close to Folly beach and charleston but so quiet and serene. We used this as our home base for a 40th birthday trip and had a lovely time. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and luxurious, outside spaces beautiful. Google maps didn’t have good directions to the house but the host sent them to us ahead of time. It’s next to two houses but it’s still quiet with a great view of the marsh. It was the perfect retreat for the area.

There was a snafu upon checking but I reached out to Oliver and he immediately responded and corrected the issue. He was very responsive anytime we reached out. The location was great and all the amenities kept the kids and us busy while at “home” which was nice after a long day. Us adults could relax while the kids didn’t feel like we were just wasting our vacation doing nothing. The provided bug spray saved our lives while outside, so thank you for that. 10/10 Would stay again! Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

This might be the best vacation rental we have ever had. My grandson liked this vacation more than Disney World. It was the perfect place to relax and just enjoy being with family. Mark was great and available if we had any questions. We will definitely be coming back.

Catrina's townhouse was perfect for our family of 6 adults, one toddler and a baby. We especially liked the location as you could walk to the beach and restaurants and yet get to Charleston fairly quickly for sightseeing and doing things in the city. Catrina supplied beach toys/chairs/towels and a wagon for loading up to take to the beach which we really appreciated. There were also bikes we could use and two kayaks(although we didn't use the kayaks). She instructed us what to expect upon arrival and what supplies were provided before we arrived so we could pack or pick them up before arriving which was nice as it seemed a little different than some things on the west coast. We had a great time and would highly recommend this for a family get away!

Are you planning on visiting Charleston? You just found the perfect place to stay. Located in between downtown and Folly Beach, this is ideal. Get out and explore the area and return to relax, unwind, and rest. This amazing place is just like the photos depict. Very neat and clean. The host is responsive and you will not be disappointed.

The house was everything that we had hoped for. It was beautiful. The screened porch was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine with friends while the back porch was perfect for a game of cards or a cup of morning coffee. Very peaceful and private. We are a group of 8 women ranging in age from 70-80. The single level was perfect for our two folks who have mobility challenges. The host was immediately responsive to some questions that we had. We have dealt with other rental agencies and had to wait hours and sometimes days for a response so this was quite refreshing. The location is near perfect. It's about 800-1000 steps from the beach but is a a flat path and most of us found it quite walkable. We always enjoy this area and would definitely rent again.

I can’t say enough good things. You won’t want to leave. This kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The outside space is amazing. My only regret was not staying for longer. The 3 chickens are so friendly, they followed us everywhere like a little pep squad. We especially enjoyed coffee out at the marsh. My Apple map GPS is a little off on the address. If it’s on the left, just go a little further up the road. If it’s night, you will see the beautiful tree lights to know you are “home.”

Perfect little gem on Edisto. The property is so peaceful, it was the such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. That dock and the views are just magical. Stress just melts away! Recs by Tracie, Kings Farm Market and Flowers Seafood were delicious! And a ride to Boneyard Beach was an awesome trip. Thank you for the perfect rejuvenating trip!

Greetings. What a wonderful visit. The location is outstanding. The cottage and surroundings are amazing. The weekend met all of our expectations plus, a really fun adventure. Thanks to our hosts, Pam and Ollie.

Very accommodating host with a well-located haven close to Folly and downtown.

Had a great time over the weekend that me and my girlfriend stayed. The river was beautiful and the property was very peaceful. Janie and Lucy (her dog) are really nice and even gave us some suggestions of things to see around the area. Definitely could see myself planning another trip here and recommending it to friends
