Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Iosco County

We loved our vintage home with character and chosen decor. David gave us a list of things to do, which we took him up on and had a great time. The place was clean and very cozy. We loved the Pure Michigan theme. Perfect for a weekend getaway! We will book with him again.

Beyond words our stay at this amazing cottage was the best ever all around! Karen and Nick are fantastic hosts! Waking up to the amazing, beautiful view of Huron Lake was simply the most amazing first time experience for us! Everything you could possibly need is supplied. The cottage is the perfect blend of modern and rustic. The awesome fire pit, beautiful sightseeing of nature, great fishing, and so much more made this the perfect "Up North" experience. You will love it! We guarantee it! Thank you truly to Karen and Nick for making this an unforgettable vacation for my husband and I, but most of all being the best hosts experienced! This house was perfect for our weekend getaway! Everything was super clean, there is plenty of room, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed the spacious deck and beautiful beach just a short walk away. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful rental. I would absolutely recommend a stay at the Blue Elk. Do look into the 10am check out time. It was a breeze for two adults to depart but family travelers may need more time.

We had a great stay here! The place was very clean, updated, and very cute. Rachel was very responsive and helpful when we had a small issue with the heat, and was quick to fix our issue. Being right on Lake Huron was beautiful, and I’m sure would be even nicer in the summer! Overall a great place to stay, had everything we needed to cook, and even extra blankets in the living room for hanging out on the couch. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely stay again😊

I had never been to Oscoda before, and Rachel’s place made me feel right at home! Perfect view of the beach, and it was just so so so beautiful. I will definitely be coming back for sure!!

Enjoyed our stay in Oscoda. The unit is newly renovated with updated furniture and fixtures in the bath and kitchen. The space is very inviting. The lake view was beautiful. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions. Rachel brought over extra blankets to insure we were comfortable. Great place for a short getaway for a count.

Beautiful spot on Lake Huron just steps from the beach. The cottage is connected to others, but it feels private and shares a large deck with only one unit next door. The couple days we spent here were so peaceful. We didn’t see another soul on the beach. The decor inside was so cute and had so many little touches. The bed was extremely comfortable. My husband and I both said we slept better there than we have in months. Highly recommend staying here! Linda is a wonderful host.

The house was beautiful and spacious! We fit 10 people easily, and comfortably. The neighborhood is nice and we walked downtown and to the beach each day. My one thought was I wish there was a washer and dryer in the unit due to all our dirty beach clothes. Highly recommend this house for family getaways!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing and everything was clean.

The Long Lake cabin worked out great for our adventures. It was peaceful and everything that we needed. Communication with the Hosts was great and they were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. And they are close by should any issues arise.

This awesome place was near everything! We walked to the beach and explored the beautiful pier the first night we were there. On the second day we walked to town and did a little shopping and lunch. Later that afternoon we enjoyed biking on the local trails and even stopped for a snack at the Hilltop restaurant. I highly recommend this place!

Terrific stay. The house is beautiful with stunning views of the lake. Good restaurants within walking distance and a Starbucks opposite. While the back of the house is private, on the lake with great views, the house opens onto the main road, which has advantages (such as Starbucks). The host, Elizabeth, is wonderful friendly, responsive and accommodating. A 5 star experience.

Decided to take my wife and 2 dogs up. was an absolute blast! lots of attractions and places to walk our dogs and get out of our home. What a perfect place to go! It was perfect!

We enjoyed our time here and thought it was very clean and well organized! Having kayaks, fishing, paddle boat, fishing boat etc all available to us and all kinds of water and beach toys was great. Things are super organized in their well-lit shed and having all these things accessible to us was a huge perk of staying here. The cabin was cute and very clean and welcoming.
