Vacation rentals with a kayak in Inverness County

we had a girls trip to Lisa's property and it was above and beyond our expectations ! breath taking views, tons of room in the house .

We stayed here with 4 other couples. The house was perfect for our needs and I’d imagine, for any large group. Each couple had their own beautifully decorated room. The kitchen-dining-living room L-shaped open area was spacious enough for all to gather. And the record player and record collection was a pleasant surprise! The outside area was great. We made use of the hot tub, an individual mini golf set and the fire pit out back. As other reviews stated, the wifi and cell service is a little spotty throughout the house. But we enjoyed our time together. Sheena and Bryce were flexible, friendly and wonderful to deal with. We would definitely stay here again. :)

I needed a place to accommodate my 6 kids, their spouses, & my granddaughters to honor my precious Dad’s wishes to lay his ashes to rest in his beloved Cape Breton home 🙏Nikki was a gift from God who absolutely blessed us with the most beautiful place for this very special time! Not only did we all have beautiful 5 star bedrooms & luxurious baths (I made all my girls pamper themselves 🛁) but the house is so beautifully appointed, designed, & decorated, the property on the water was like a resort-complete & total peace-woke up to beautiful sunrises watching Canada geese & loons swim by & ended perfect days out at a perfectly set up fire under lights with gorgeous sunsets! There was absolutely NOTHING Nikki didn’t think of!!! From beautiful cribs, change tables, toys, books, dinnerware, even a baby bubble bath 💖, kayaks, paddle boards, darts, games, beautiful fire places, indoor/outdoor dining, perfect heat/AC, laundry, & a kitchen a chef would love! And Nikki accommodated our EVERY N

Lovely place with beautiful views from stay. Stay has all amenities needwd for a stay and surprise to know that how many things can fit within a time home. Loved all part of stay including lovely surrounding. 🖼️

We wanted a chance to switch off after a busy period and this location was perfect. Inside was cosy yet spacious so we felt we could spread out and unwind with lots of games and books available. Outside was stunning with a lot of our time spent admiring the lake view and wonderful weather. The icing on the cake though was the availability of Kayaks and a launch pontoon to escape onto the lake and get lost in the absolute calm out there. We honestly cannot fault Jean and Angela and are so grateful for their responsiveness and happiness to help with any little questions we had. We would love to go back if they will have us again!

Lovely condo. Had everything. Conveniently located. Beautiful view. Several outdoor seating areas which we loved. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

Could not ask for a better location to hang out and relax or use as a base to visit the park or nearby beaches. Not mentioned in the listing were the hundreds of fireflies in the grass in front, the 7 year old had a great time.

Our group booked the Intervale on short notice when other planned accommodations fell through. Cameron was very responsive and accommodating to the needs of our group. The property is beautiful and the lodge is a welcoming spot for large groups to gather. The suites were clean and the beds very comfortable. The two bunk bed rooms are add-ons to two of the suites, and are great for parents with small children.

Tara and Lee were wonderful hosts! The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck and evenings around the fire pit watching the spectacular sunsets.

Kirk and Kelley were very welcoming and lovely. The cottage was easy to locate and had some stunning views of the mountains and the lake. Thank you for hosting us and would indeed return for another get away in the future.

It was an amazing place to stay. Clean and cozy home. When you stay there, it looks like your home. It has everything you need. And the private beach was WOW. So relaxing and so peaceful. My girls loved it. We will go back again next year. And Bob, the host, was so helpful for every question that we had. Thanks, Bob. Your place is amazing.

Everything at the cottage was fantastic; we felt right at home. There were eight of us, and the house had enough space for us all and enough bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the appliances that you need. It was a great stay, and I recommend it to anyone

Great place to stay! Kelley and Kirk were kind hosts, the hot tub was a special treat, the bed/bedding oh so comfy, and the lake and surrounding area were beautiful! Also appreciated the many local recommendations. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time at the Doyle Beach House! Staying there was the perfect way for us to end our Nova Scotia trip as it offered a a great place to relax and as a base for us to explore Cape Breton Island and the Cabot Trail. The beach is at the bottom of the garden and was perfect for our children with calm shallows and soft sand but also with areas of stones for exploring. The location of the property is perfect for access to the beach at anytime of the day for walks and play and is also a short drive away from restaurants and grocery stores. The sunsets are amazing either from the deck or even from inside and watching over the water was a nightly routine. We couldn’t recommend this property and the hosts more and would love to return in the future.

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

Lovely place right on the water. Will return next time I am in CB.
