Tight space, but with the beautiful backyard setting & the multitude of activities to do in/around Cheticamp, you won’t be spending much time indoors. Despite being a tight space, it had everything one will need for a comfortable stay. I cannot mention enough how peaceful the backyard setting is!! Such an incredible sunset.

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

Joeleens place was a great place to stay for the night. It was very clean, cozy and had everything you needed. It looked exactly like it does in the photos provided. The location was great and convenient. It was on the Main Street and was walking distance to a few restaurants. Just be mindful that it’s a shared building and being on the bottom floor you could hear foot traffic above. But overall we had a great stay ! Thanks for hosting us!!

Had a great stay at Joe’s place. They were very accommodating, responsive, and helpful on more than one occasion when our itentary changed. Thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing view of the ocean from the patio each morning and evening. Conveniently located in walking distance to the co-op, two restaurants, and beaches. Made a great base for exploring all of Cape Breton Island.

This was a cozy place for our family of four in the heart of Cheticamp. It’s close to grocery, bakeries, and local restaurants, and we loved being on the water and so close to the Cabot Trail/National Park. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and the deck was relaxing. This definitely was a great place to stay for the activities we wanted to do in the area.

This unit is in a two story apartment building, set back from the road which makes it easy to miss. The flip side of this is that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view of St Peters Bay. There is a grocery store within walking distance, along with a few places to eat out. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

This is an absolutely brilliant Airbnb. The hosts are responsive, the house is gorgeous, the supplies for guests extensive. I fully understand why one previous reviewer wanted to buy the home! Cannot recommend highly enough - just superb in every way

Was a wonderful stay, Angie went above and beyond with all that she had available for us with extra in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms! The location could not have need more perfect our stay was great ! Looking forward to booking again !

My experience at Beth's place was exceptional from start to finish. The home was spotless, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Beth was an amazing host – quick to respond and thoughtful in every way. I would highly recommend Beth's place to anyone else.

Great stay! Michael was there to personally great us and walk us through the property. House is spacious and clean. Nice views from the front two bedrooms.. Kitchen was well stocked for those who prefer to cook. Good selection of spices. While there are resurants 10-20 minutes away, they all pretty much have the same style of food. So, having the kitchen was great. Didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the property and the lake as we only had a couple days. But if you have time, the lake is beautiful. Our trip was 10 nights throughout NS and PEI. So Bonus having a full size washer/dryer. Nice to travel with not have luggage with a week of dirty clothes. Will stay here again, but longer.

This was an excellent stay. Denise was a great communicator. The location is beautiful, overlooking the ocean and looking up at the cliffs of Cape Breton National Park behind. Close to shopping (incl. grocery) in Cheticamp. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been coming to Baddeck for many years, and this time we were fortunate to find Kristine’s place. Everything about the place was perfect—the stunning view, the immaculate house, and most of all Kristine’s wonderful family. They felt like my own by the end of our stay, and we will most definitely be coming back. Kristine thought of every little detail to make us feel at home, from the zillion channel TV to the coffee ready to be perked.

We absolutely loved everything about this property! Right on the ocean, beautiful views, tons of space, two kitchens, three bathrooms... it had everything we wanted and then some. The host was very helpful with any questions we had and very responsive. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful home.

We absolutely loved our stay! The space was everything we were hoping for—peaceful, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The views were absolutely stunning, and the sound of the waves made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. Everything inside was clean, inviting, and well thought out. John was a fantastic host—friendly, easy to communicate with, and full of helpful recommendations for local spots to explore and great places to eat. We left feeling completely refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway!
