We booked Kathryn’s as a night out. Unfortunately my husband ended up on call all weekend and I ended up having to go into work myself for a few hours. Kathryn was accommodating to allow us to park his work vehicle in the driveway, and we were able to get in and out easily. The apartment was cozy, and comfortable. It was a great stay for us aside from both of us having to work, and it had everything we needed.

I have stayed with David and his team a number of times when I am in Sydney. Extremely clean and well-appointed spaces. Very proactive and responsive. Can’t say enough about what a great value this space is. Always awesome!

Beautiful and clean accommodations with a very kind and friendly host! The apartment is larger than it looks in pictures and had all the amenities we required. We had a baby crawling around, so we appreciated having such a clean place. Sally and her husband went above and beyond in greeting us with homemade muffins and wine, offering local tips and even cooking us some local lobster! The house is a little bit of an extra drive in, but it was worth it for those peaceful views. Sally and her husband live just upstairs and were always accessible if we needed anything. Thank you so much again for a lovely stay!

Loved the coastal, authentic Atlantic and private ambiance. Spacious with ample natural light. Sunset was beautiful. Nice breeze.

The apartment is very clean and updated. It has all the essentials in the kitchen including tea and coffee. Very good location, walking distance to Center 200 and downtown shops and restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful stay on the water! Nice and friendly hosts - great quick communication. Easy to access Sydney from here and took a taxi back without problem.

Location is amazing, partial ocean view from second floor balcony, a few minutes walk to the beach and golf course restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. We were warned about the steep stairs, but they were fine for us. The owners were very responsive and helpful. They even brought over a lobster pot for us to use which we really appreciated. No windows in two of the upstairs bedrooms which was not a problem with the cool nights in June but might be later in summer. A screen door on the sliding door would be a great addition. They have fans for each bedroom. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. The location was perfect!!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Geoffrey’s Eagles Nest B&B! The pictures truly do not do it justice, the view is totally breathtaking and the B&B itself is even nicer in person with so much space!! You have multiple balconies, living and dining areas, and large sized bedrooms, everything and more you could need - especially when travelling in a large group. Geoffrey was very communicative throughout our stay, always available if we needed anything and even went above and beyond for us by finding us a pack and play to use for our little one! The area itself is so beautiful and worked as a great base for our trip in Cape Breton, with only a short drive to the park and to Chéticamp! We cannot say enough good things about this B&B and would love to come back one day!! Thank you, Geoffrey!

Plus, the picturesque walk to the beach is not only scenic but also a perfect way to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The hosts are incredibly kind, quick to respond, and very helpful.

Loved the location - right on the Cabot Trail and very close to Chéticamp and the park. Lots of great hiking and sights, and we loved having the hot tub to relax in at the end of each day.

We absolutely loved this place, it had everything we wanted and was very comfortable. The place was really sweet and tastefully decorated with lots of nice touches. Beds were comfortable and the view was amazing. We enjoyed the afternoons on the back deck and even took the path down to the water. The place was very clean and stocked with everything you could think of. Lots of lovely beaches nearby if you like to walk the beach or beach comb. The only thing that we thought it could have used is an umbrella on the back deck because it can get very hot out there but other than that it was terrific. Thanks Shannon We loved it!

The lodge was beautiful. The location was so peaceful and with amazing views. I would love to come back one summer and see the area in a different season. Michael was a fab host and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much.

Picturesque accommodations that were spacious, very clean and totally relaxing. Although it was “in the woods”; it was easy to find and had ample parking. Warm temperatures and sunny skies allowed us to take full advantage of its location - so near to Baddeck and The Cabot Trail. The owner lives on the property and was able to respond very quickly to requests.

The condo was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The views from the living room and balcony were even better than the photos, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing on the beach. Our only regret is not booking a second night!

Fara’s home was AMAZING. We loved our stay, it is so peaceful there, her home was sparkling clean, with everything we needed and was really well equipped compared to Airbnbs we’ve stayed at before. Fara was an amazing host, responsive, great communication, left us even a thoughtful treat. She gave us many recommendations about the area and was also quick at responding to our questions. I also really appreciated that she allowed us to come with our Golden Retriever. If we go back to Ingonish, we’d for sure want to stay at Fara’s home again. One more thing that we loved was the waterview from the balcony and the beach access, the beach was beautiful! Thank you again for everything and for hosting us in your beautiful home! 🌊☀️🦮🥾

We are doing a road trip around Nova Scotia and I can honestly say that this is the best accommodation we have stayed in! Beautiful place in beautiful surroundings, great host, nothing lacking. We would have loved to stay here for longer, but need to move on. Completely recommended!!!
