How disconnected can you be from nature? Thanks to Luciano, we were able to understand it. Staying in his accommodation was the perfect opportunity to get closer to nature, animal life, silence, and the coolness of the morning. Walking the path to reach the cabin is like living a magical fairy tale. The place is tidy and extremely clean. Luciano is kind and helpful. His adventure companion, Olèo, a very nice big dog. My partner and I needed to get away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. And the Baita nel Bosco turned out to be the ideal place. We only stayed two nights, but we will definitely be back. This time for longer. Thank you very much Luciano. Your life and your story are an example for everyone. See you soon.

Barbara's apartment is beautifully located above Lagos. We enjoyed the great view on the terrace every evening. The apartment is exactly as described and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Barbara is super nice and even spoiled us with a homemade foccacia and apricots from her garden. She also gave us good tips for activities. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend the apartment.

Casa Eli was such a perfect spot. We swam in the lake at Alana every morning and then went hiking in the mountains in the afternoon. Cambiasca is a lovely little village with a great pizza restaurant, a couple of bars for coffee, and a 5 min drive for groceries. We especially enjoyed sitting in the terrace under the shade, and so appreciated the beautiful space Roberta has created with the exposed brick and high arched ceilings. Gorgeous - highly recommend that you stay here.

Overall it was a peaceful and pleasant way to disconnect. And beautiful view! The road to get there was quite the adventure we didn’t expect. But Mr Beati showed us the way on the first day. If you rather stay there with minimal driving down to the city, I would recommend that you stock on kitchen basics because there was only sugar in the house. In terms of utensils etc, everything we needed was there. Mr Beati and his wife were all very kind and welcoming. We thank them for their hospitality!
