Amazing escape from the busy world. We loved the calm environment at the bothy and the wildlife in the surroundings. Spending some days without permanent electricity and cooking on the Rayburn was a great experience to slow down during holidays

Victorian Hunting Lodge in Beautiful Location

KirstyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a great time staying here for the weekend with friends (and dog) for my 30th birthday. The house was clean, tidy and warm when we arrived and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and cook in the kitchen. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were pristine! Of course the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and we took advantage of some nice weather to go on a forest trail walk and spent some time down by the loch. All of the amenities listed were available and not to mention the great hosts who kept in touch prior to arriving, providing helpful tips and clear instructions in a friendly manner so thank you again for letting us create lasting memories in your home!

Our stay in Kinloch Rannoch was nothing short of amazing. The home was beautifully kept, perfectly equipped, and ideal for our group of 8. The location is stunning—peaceful, scenic, and a perfect base to explore the Highlands. Val was incredibly thoughtful and communicative , making everything feel effortless. Truly a 5-star experience in every way!

A stunning Perthshire rural retreat

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location with great views. Perfectly located for exploring the local area and for accessing some fantastic walking. The Cottage has been beautifully decorated, with some lovely touches to make you feel very welcome and at home. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need for self-catering. Jan was a very welcoming host with recommendations on the local area, and making sure all was well. We enjoyed The Cottage in beautiful sunshine and made the most of sitting in the garden, so didn't get a chance to use the log burner in the cosy lounge - another time!

Waterfront Character Cottage - Kenmore

Excellent 4 bedroom/5 full bathroom house. It is very private on a picturesque peninsula in in the small village of Kenmore. Beautiful view of loch and river from all the windows. Lots of space for larger groups. Games and books to entertain. The host is very prepared for guests. Kitchen and dining area quite large. Washer and dryer in laundry room with ironing board and iron. Adjustable heat throughout. Gorgeous house with wonderful history. Well situated about 1.5 hr from EDI. Easy to drive there. Sheep and little lambs everywhere! Very peaceful and pastoral. Highland Safari is about 10 min drive - and definitely an activity to do when staying here. Aberfeldy is 15 min easy drive to get groceries, gas, and access to local restaurants and bakery (Breadalbane!). Easy to communicate with host. Minimal checkout requirements. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot with a view over the hills and down Strathtay. The pod is bright and airy in good weather but cosy with the doors slid shut and the curtains drawn when the rain is pattering down! Donna could not have been more friendly and helpful …… we felt very at home there!
