Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ingham County

House was clean, Angella was quick, friendly, and responsive. Great neighborhood and close to everything in Lansing. We enjoyed our first non-hotel stay in the area for about the same price! Thanks again!

Jessica's house was perfectly described and conveniently located. It was particularly well suited for us due to the spacious backyard which our family dog enjoyed immensely. The kitchen was well appointed and perfect for our family of four. All of our interactions were seamless and well timed. I would gladly stay at Jessica's house again if the opportunity were to arise.

We had a great time. The place was perfect and the beds were super comfortable. I wish we would have had time for kayaks or bikes.

We recently had a house fire causing us to lose housing and have to rent out hotels, AirBnbs, apartments, etc. Britany was quick to respond when I booked her place last minute and was accommodating to our needs with the disaster. The house was in a nice, quite neighborhood despite being a block from major roads, which I was very pleased with.

Our stay with Eric and Kimberly was possibly my best Airbnb experience ever! Not only was the property itself spotless, safe, and comfortable, but Eric and Kimberly went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional! They were extremely responsive and flexible in their communication, and they also had snacks, waters, and a lovely graduation gift and card for me upon arrival! I can honestly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Lansing--it is conveniently located near downtown and the MSU campus, but far enough that you avoid the congestion and craziness, especially of campus. Great for families and, although we were all adults, it looks like Eric and Kimberly had everything set up to make the stay comfortable for kids, too! I would happily stay here again. We enjoyed staying at Jill’s cottage! I stayed there with a few coworkers for a virtual conference, and the wifi was very good, there were plenty of activities to do nearby and even caught a free concert in the park! The cottage would be tight with 11, but would likely more comfortably fit 6 adults and a few kids. Regardless, we would definitely recommend booking with her in the future.

We had a great stay here. Easy check in and check out instructions! The outdoor toys and bikes were a great addition to the amazing scenery. Would stay here again!

Barbara was working in the yard and came up to introduce herself when I arrived! Noticing my shirt she told me about a walk/run that would be 2.5 miles from the house. I enjoyed the walk very much and was invited to join their bonfire that evening. This home is beyond clean; it is extremely organized (with labels for everything from placements to utensils); very well-stocked (really appreciated the bottled water) and very comfortable. So many added details plus such friendly hosts in a quiet, peaceful place! Thank you!!

Perfect stay far enough to be private and quiet, yet 5-10 minutes to many restaurants, shopping centers, gas and anything you would need! 10-20 minutes to anything Ann Arbor or Saline have to offer - just so convenient. The “Loft” had all anyone needs for an easy stay and, again, really comfortable and quiet for rest or work. Thank you Amira and Issac - hope to be back soon! John & Laura

This basement apartment was perfect for our stay while visiting our MSU daughter. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we could have needed, and the welcome snacks were perfect after a long travel day. Hubby is 6’2” and cleared the ductwork with 1/4” to spare. :) We would stay here again!

We loved our stay at 499 Island Road. The host was extremely helpful, responsive and attentive. The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. Its was comfortable, cozy and the lake accommodations were beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat, that the host quickly arranged for us. We plan to return the next time we have a weekend at Waterloo Hunt Club.

Had a great stay. Place was tidy and felt like home, when we walked in. Will stay there again, if we are in town.

Was in the area for work and found this Tiny house. Stay was very pleasant. It was myself and a coworker who brought their dog. No issues and will definitely stay again.

Could not have been happier with our stay here. Anne has created and maintained a very special feeling of place in this cottage. We enjoyed every minute of being here, even jumped in the lake! The cottage intuitively resets your way of living, if even for just a few days. Life slows down…sleep is deeper. The crickets louder. There is a grocery store less than ten minutes away (and Instacart can get you a Target run as well) The kitchen is so nice to cook in, and believe me, you won’t want to leave this place for dinner. We cancelled reservations because we wanted to stay in more. Best sink ever for dishes. Quiet, Simple, Morning and Afternoon Light, Long Stares at the water. Sounds of nature. Home cooked meals. Best dirt roads with wildflowers nearby if you need just one other thing to do. If your life needs this, do that here in this cottage.

Kira and Morgan were fantastic hosts, going above and beyond multiple times throughout the trip. they offered great local recommendations, fantastic communication. great place to stay for a small family or would be great for a few girlfriends getting away to stay on the water

5 STARS!!!!! Booking, directions and finding the cabin was all a breeze. Ben answered any questions I had and was a pleasure to communicate with. There are plenty of restaurants and convience items nearby. Upon arrival, the two track was easy to drive and we'll maintained. There is plenty of space for parking. My first impression of the property was that it was better than I thought. There is a beautiful pond with a peddle boat, wood swing to view the pond, firepit, lots of chairs for sitting outside and an outhouse nearby. The outhouse had tissue and hand sanitizer however I did not have to use it because I travel with my own toilet. The outside area is very spacious, private and full of nature. I saw deer, turkey, rabbits and all kinds of birds. Inside was clean, spacious, comfortable and had all needed cooking supplies. I loved the screened in porch and remote controlled lights. I like a firm bed. If you want a soft bed, you may want to bring a topper or extra comforters. Thanks!
