This large historic home built in 1895 housed the parsonage for the nearby First Baptist Church for a long time. It is located in the Truman Heritage District, directly across the street from the Truman Home, and within easy walking distance of many 1800's and early 1900's sights in this history-rich town. Hosted my cousin’s Bach and WOW! We had a GREAT TIME. The house was gorge and spacious, the backyard being the selling point. It was easy to get in and out, love that the door auto locks and security system made us as a group of girls feel so safe. We had everything we needed and it was close to where we planned activities. Super happy!

Probably the best Airbnb experience that I have had. Beth and Bob are friendly and approachable and go above and beyond what is expected of hosts. For example, I had forgotten my sandals after checking out, and they texted me soon after and placed them on their porch (bagged!) for easy pick up. In addition, given the proximity to their Airbnb to the Truman Library, I highly recommend it for anyone doing research there. 11/10
