This location is a bit remote but totally worth it. A stream runs by the property, a lot of jackfruits around, a small checkdam-waterfall at walking distance and further ahead some beautiful viewpoints. Locals are friendly, a young couple helped us to checkin and an uncle guided us to a viewpoint. Vivin is really kind, he coordinated everything through phone. We were lucky to have booked Sibi's cab from Kochi because they both communicated seamlessly in Malayalam and took us to lesser known sightseeing places. He got things arranged pretty well. Vivin also offered us homegrown fruits and jackfruits, his mom Sophie aunty was super warm and kind to us. This is not a commercial luxurious resort, this is a proper house where you get to experience how locals live, first hand. Different experience, totally worth it. It was a very peaceful stay away from the hustle bustle of city life. We had a very peaceful stay, there’s a river nearby. For eateries, one needs to walk to the town. The food delivery apps deliver if you don’t wish to order in. Host is very responsive & helpful and stays nearby. Thank you for having us!

I had a wonderful stay at Beena's place! Everything was great – the room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Beena was a warm and welcoming host, always ready to help with anything I needed. One of the highlights of my stay was the traditional breakfast she served – it was delicious and gave us a real taste of the local culture. I highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!
