Guesthouse vacation rentals in Ille-et-Vilaine

We were truly impressed with the sheer beauty, tranquility, and charm of Florence and Emil's place. Also the hosts who were so kind and generous. Emil helped us with a punctured tire, and was always ready with advice, and answered our many questions. We had some very interesting and excellent conversations about the state of things in France, as we were very curious. The place itself is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed, and more. The kitchen is cosy and a lovely place to cook. The whole house was so wonderful! We were in a very large apartment in the small chateau, which has several, all private from each other. The expansive lawns outside are shared amongst everyone, but since Europeans are generally quieter and more respectful than us Americans, it was very pleasant and privacy was not missed. The lake is gorgeous, and we walked in the forest surrounding it. As my first visit to France, it was a glorious way to begin! One could almost see the lords and ladies of 200 hundred years ago in their fine raiment parading around the lake. Quintessential French it seemed to me. I hope we will visit again! It is a wonderful place from which to explore that part of Bretagne. Since this is rural France, be prepared for internet to be slow and possibly intermittent; something we had to manage by going out to larger villages for our work and trip planning. This was a small issue; just be prepared, and certainly no fault of Florence and Emil, who spent a lot of time trying to remedy this for their guests. Don't forget to rent the sheets and towels from Florence and appreciate the beautiful embossed towels with their own color for each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable, and for the first time in years my chronic neck pain went away completely. I'm going home with French pillows! This is the nicest airbnb experience to date (I've been to many). Highly recommended.

Nous venons de passer un séjour formidable chez Hubert et Laurence. Ils ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable et Faciliter notre arrivée et notre départ. La proximité de l'étang et la nature environnante nous ont apporté beaucoup de paix et ont contribué au succès du séjour.

Logement très calme, très propre et très agréable. L'accueil par Isabelle a été très agréable, chaleureux et nous avons eu toutes les explications nécessaires. Nous le recommandons !

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, sauber und gemütlich. Sophie und ihr Mann Patrick waren immer erreichbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider waren wir im Urlaub mehrfach auf einen Arzt angewiesen. Beide haben uns dabei unterstützt, Ärzte zu finden. Achtung: spontan einen Zahnarzt zu finden, ist praktisch unmöglich! Ein großer zusätzlicher Pluspunkt: eine Apothekerin in Lancieux spricht deutsch und ist super hilfsbereit! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon auf diese tollen Vermieter und das schnuckelige Ferienhäuschen nahe am Strand...

Super expérience chez Geneviève. Nous avons organisé une superbe fête dans la cour intérieure de son logement ! Un endroit agréable avec des animaux en liberté adorables, cochons, chiens, chats etc. L’ensemble des invités étaient très heureux d’avoir passé cette soirée dans un endroit originale et champêtre ! Une hôte accueillante et à l’écoute. Je recommande :) !

Très belle étape dans ce logement calme et bien situé, on peut visiter Rennes à pied et laisser les vélos en toute sécurité ! Excellente communication, nous recommandons cet hôte et reviendrons si l'occasion se présente.

Nous sommes venus en famille pour le week-end de l'ascension et avons passés un très bon séjour. Maison très propre et agréable,bien au calme. De plus nous avons eu super beau et avons pu profiter de cette belle région. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Très bon séjour chez John. Une semaine en famille reposante comme nous le cherchions. La piscine est vraiment super, l'accès au lac et vraiment un plus avec un chien. John est un hôte très réactif en cas de questions. Merci John pour ce séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Richardais. La maisonnette est très propre, fonctionnelle avec des équipements modernes. La literie était très bonne pour 2 personnes comme nous qui avons des problèmes de dos.. Tout était parfait en somme ! De plus, ce logement est bien situé pour visiter Dinan, St Malo et Dinard ... Nous recommandons vivement le logement de Philippe et Sarah.

Hôtes très accueillant, lieu très calme et apaisant. Jaccuzi et Sauna très agréable et propre. Nous avons passez un séjour très agréable, le cadre est idyllique, et la déco fait avec goût. En petit plus la cueillette des cerises, vraiment très bonne. ☺️ Ont reviendras les yeux fermées. ☺️

Nous avons réservé le logement de Charlène pour un week-end bien-être entre copines et l'environnement paisible, au contact des animaux du logement a été un choix parfais ! Charlène et son mari ont été très aimables, toujours attentionnés, réactifs et flexibles afin que l'on passe un week-end de qualité !

Logement très agréable. Bien équipé et spacieux pour 4 personnes. La communication a été très fluide. Nous recommandons!

We had the pleasure to stay in the gite of Marie and Loik for a few days. We enjoyed it a lot. It started with the warm welcome from Marie who was waiting for our arrival and the warm welcome in the house where the fire was already burning in the stove and we were presented with some home made confiture. The house was according to expectations, very clean and tidy. Also there is a lot to discover in the surrounding area, it's perfect for sightseeing (some beautiful villages close by, mt saint Michel at driving distance and many many opportunities to go for nice walks). Thanks for having us, we enjoyed it.

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door Danielle, Philippe en hun kinderen. De cottage was zeer proper en er was veel aandacht besteed aan de inrichting. Vanop het terras hadden we een prachtig zicht op de rivier en konden we genieten van de rust en het gezang van de vogels. Wat ons het meeste is bijgebleven is de gastvrijheid en de warmte van het gezin. Ze zorgden ervoor dat we niks tekort kwamen. Ze gaven ons ook info over de streek en die was zeer nuttig. Een echte aanrader!

We loved our stay here! Our daughters did not want to leave. It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It was so close to Cancale and St Malo. We enjoyed every minute and can't wait to visit again!

Tres pratique pour une visite du Mt St Michel. Très calme. Le parc et la piscine sont un vrai plus. Hôtes très accueillants et à l’écoute. Dommage que nous ne soyions restés que une nuit.
