It started out with a small house, a boat, and some kayaks where we went out into the sea and rivers exploring the beauties of the region that amazes us to this day. Twenty years later, with new takeovers and transformations, comes the Angra Dry Mangrove, with the purpose of sharing the lived experiences and also seeking new ones, offering lodging and excursions.

The Shelter is a refuge in the forest for those who desire intense contact with the sea and with nature and need to rest from the urbanized world, its rush, its pollution and unsustainability. There you can get to know the Atlantic Forest, its centenary trees, its springs, the night sounds. On the wood stove, the indigenous style breakfast with roots, herbal teas from the backyard, edible leaves and wild savory seasoning, green banana chips, soups and beans baked in stone and clay pans.
