The place was beautiful! Joanne is a great host. We weren't disappointed with our stay.

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

It's a nice place and the calm requested by the hosts is respected by all visitors. Which is very much appreciated. I went alone to focus on a writing project and it was perfect. I will go back with my boyfriend because I enjoyed it very much but I will make sure to rent a cottage where the hot tub and fireplace are attached to my cottage only. For a better sense of privacy☺️. Note that the spa/lounge area is right across from the cottage and visible through the patio doors so very close all the same. The sunsets are beautiful and the calm is worth the trip. Thanks to the hosts for this wonderful stay!

Beautiful recent and comfortable little house in the village of Saint-Louis, on the edge of the river; we had a great stay: everything was very clean, the kitchen area well organized. Several possible steps from the house; on the other hand, to reach the shops, it is necessary to take the car. We hope to come back!

Stop looking, best chalet, hands down. The view on the river is breathtaking, the chalet was spotless, very spacious and extremely well-equipped. Many corners and nooks to read, chill, and be merry. Wonderful experience all around. Oh, and have I mentioned the hot tub, that there is a wonderful garden, and it's dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Hi, Very nice and clean accommodation. The neighborhood is nice but at night, there are a lot of homeless people and it's not very reassuring if you come home late.

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We felt so at home in their beautiful home and so appreciated their amazing hospitality. Thank you so very much. We will be back again and again!!!

We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

We loved this location! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The boat was clean and had a great view of the city. Yves was an excellent host…very attentive to questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

great place with private firepit and zaccuzi hot tub. 1 queen bed ,1 single bed 1 small bathroom. overall for the price its good. its far from city so make sure you have a bug spary ,bugs are everywhere from river. the view was beautiful ,you can see whole river from your living room. overall cute . they have ev charger ,basically evrything you require for fun , games as well.

Very clean chalet, well-equipped with magnificent views of the river!

Diane went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. The location was right on the water although due to weather we were restricted from accessing it. The island was quiet but that was what we expected and wanted. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was great with good water pressure. We'd love to come back and will stay with Diane again!

The chalet was nice and cozy! The weather was beautiful with the exception of the last day, and we spent all weekend sitting outside looking at the view. Loved the island and the accessibility of the house.

We stayed at Mario’s home during a snowstorm, and it was an incredible experience! The house and the view were even better than the photos—absolutely perfect for couples seeking a cozy getaway. Mario is one of the nicest hosts we’ve ever met: very accommodating, flexible, and truly cares about his guests. The view of the St. Lawrence River was spectacular, even in winter. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape!

Very nice 3-night stay at Cédric's with friends. Dream location on the beach, access to the house according to the high/low tides is very special to experience!! SPECTACULAR river view from the living room, dining room and a WOW bedroom Clean, warm and spacious house where we didn't step on each other's toes, we were 6 adults. Very well-equipped functional kitchen, coffee machine, dishwasher, BBQ under covered terrace, a big + Living room had 6 seats but the sofa was a little tight so we took an outdoor chair for more comfort because of the beautiful fireplace that we used because the good weather was not there, 3 days of rain, a spa would have been good. Good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and clean full bathroom with enough towels and essentials provided, very much appreciated. Midinette bakery and village within walking distance, and discovering the island's products is always nice to do. Thank you Cédric for sharing your homes with us

Great stay at this mini cottage! Ideal for two people, or a small family, because it's very small! The waterfront location is fantastic (spa, BBQ, fire pit, the sound of the waves at all times... it's the big wow!!!). Everything is very functional, kitchen, bathroom, smart TV, there is parking, check-in and checkout are very simple and the instructions are clear! The village of St-Jean-Port-Joli was the highlight of our visit! In Cap-St-Ignace we loved the Babel coffee! Our hosts' recommendations were up to date and super interesting, they were easy to reach, everything was great. Thanks again!
