This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. Our house on de Koggeplaet in Elahuizen is really right on de Fluessen and by the harbor. From the terrace, unobstructed views over the lake. Also there is a terrace on the harbor and in the garden! Elahuizen is located in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland. A quiet place for sailing, cycling, hiking or skating! The forest and a golf course in Gaasterland are also nearby! In the months of July and August we only use Friday as arrival and departure day.

In the old core of Hindeloopen is a fishing cabin (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio features a king size bed, kitchenette, spacious bathroom and plenty of storage. Parking is possible at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking space at the port. You can store your bikes in the garden belonging to the guest house.

Cottage near to the beach.

Complete house near to the beach with 6 beds in Scandinavian style (lots of white and wood). Just 75 meters from the beach. Rebuilt in januari 2016. Complete new kitchen and bathroom. The interior is very modern. The house is fully equipped, is very shelterd and offers a lot of privacy. In April 2018 we built a new terras.
