The apartment is located on the first floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

Our apartment is located in Hohegeiß, a district of Braunlage. Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains at 640 meters above sea level. It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

The apartment is in the heart of Wernigerode. Tours are possible in all directions. Cyclists are welcome. The apartment is for max. 2 people. It is located about 5 minutes' walk from the center. A stop for the city bus is about 30 meters away. The apartment is a self-contained apartment and is on the ground floor. No car parking space available. ATTENTION! The apartment is located on the 1st floor of the house. The renovated apartment has 1 cozy living room, 1 spacious dining room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a modern kitchen. In about 10 minutes you can reach the city center of Wernigerode, the market square with the town hall and the many restaurants and shops. The swimming pool is located opposite, and the indoor swimming pool is about 400 meters away.

Living in the countryside

Our 42 m² apartment is located in the attic of our house. It is very bright and friendly. A bedroom, a living room with dining area and cozy couch, a kitchen and a bathroom with tub, toilet and washing area are available. There is also a roof terrace in front of the living room. You can enjoy nature in peace on this. TV and free Wi-Fi are provided.
