Vacation rentals with lake access in Hünenberg

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Regula and Sascha are absolutely lovely people and their home is a gem. Like others have wrote, they have thought about every detail from a wood-fired oven for pizzas to an herb garden to pick for meals to even pre-paying for our bus card to get around town. They were so kind to show us around their home when we checked in and explained everything we would need to know. The property is stunning and so peaceful with access to the lake for swimming or to take the ferry as well as a bus stop at the end of the street. I hope to stay in their home again and I would recommend it to anyone considering! Paradise! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more sunshine. Thank you both so much!

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping. You can do so much - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

Very close to station. Would recommend restaurant Anker for a great Swiss dining experience. Great heating including underfloor heating especially welcomed in cool and cold weather. Host very responsive. Would easily recommend.

A spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen. Perfect base for hikes and a swim in the lake nearby and then enjoy homemade dinner in the garden.

Stefan’s flat is the perfect base to explore lake Zurich and surroundings. It was a great first home in Switzerland for us throughout when we first arrived and had to get ourselves set up. They’ve done an excellent job at equipping the flat; it has everything you need an more and it is kept immaculate. The garden is a great place to unwind after a busy day. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved staying at Andrea’s house! The apartment was cozy and well-equipped, but the highlight was definitely the stunning view — we enjoyed unforgettable sunsets right from the window. It was such a relaxing and beautiful stay. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Christoph’s place in Ermatingen is a beautiful place , close to a lake, fantastic views and picture perfect. Had a lovely stay and felt it was very short, will go back there anytime , will strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the city and have a quiet time close to beautiful views and a lake. Christoph and Marianne were very helpful and extremely nice. Highly appreciate their hospitality.

The location of the accommodation is in a place that fits the appearance of the accommodation expected in Switzerland, with a view of the lake. The milk, juice, and bread prepared by the host were excellent. It's a place I want to come back to.

The location of the house was excellent. It was in a very quiet and peaceful area. There were nearby places to meet your needs, such as a market and a bakery. It was only 10 minutes by bus to the center of Stans. If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful holiday and want to enjoy the beauty of Switzerland, I would definitely recommend it. The property features a separate parking lot and a private entrance, ensuring ease and privacy. The entrance to the building was impeccably clean, and the flat itself was spotless. Inside, the flat boasts a spacious layout, including a large balcony furnished with dining tables both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was fully equipped and included a large freezer, making meal preparation a breeze. The bathroom was pristine and well-maintained, and the bedroom was generously sized with ample storage space. Truly a joy that Yael & her friends give us the opportunity to spend a few days in their little paradise! Amazing place, peaceful, easy to access on foot and by train with a sauna session, beautiful excursions and restaurants nearby! Highly recommendable!!

One of the most beautiful views I have seen.

Beautiful location, friendly and responsive host. All amenities mentioned were provided. There’s no kitchen as mentioned, but can use microwave, kettle and hot pot to warm or cook basic stuff. No issues if you’re coming by car, but in case of walking, as all of the bus stops are downhill, it could be a tough walk. Also it’s because the place is uphill you get such beautiful lake view. Pool table is icing on the cake. So thankful to the host for letting us use washer and dryer. Also we were given croissants, nutella on arrival, overall a great stay.

This place is a romantic spot on Lake Zurich that is truly unique. Those who have a close understanding of nature and can do without luxury will really feel comfortable and at home here and love this place. Cool.
