Luxury Vacation Home with Awesome Lake Views!

We couldn't be happier with the physical property and all of the items that were stocked and provided for entertainment and cooking. It was a bit more than we would normally spend but for our daughter's wedding we wanted to provide a gathering place for all of our traveling friends. I'd say it was overpriced for most people by 20% or so. BUT we loved it and Linda was the absolute epitome of an ideal host! We'll tell everyone and we'll find a reason to go back!

This place was well suited for our stay. Spent most of our time with relatives, but we did manage to cook up breakfast and several pans of green chile chicken enchilada for our Nebraska friends. I'm not much for stairs, but that didn't present too much of a problem as I stayed upstairs mostly. Access to the stores we needed was excellent. Things have changed in the years since we lived here in the 60's, mostly for the better. All in all I would probably do it again.

Cozy, charming, stylish and very quiet. This is not a place for people with mobility issues (difficulty climbing stairs). The property manager "Mike" was very friendly and carried all our luggage up the 25 steps and we appreciated his help. He also shared information about the area. Someone in our group suggested a lift chair for the front stairs so people who have difficulty with stairs could access the apartment too. The apartment felt safe and secure and was in the heart of downtown Norfolk for dining, shopping and other activities. We would recommend this apartment for adults planning to stay in Norfolk for business or pleasure.

I was wanting a quiet respite from my very busy life and this place ticked all the boxes. as I traveled from Wisconsin to Colorado. I especially loved the jetted, oversized tub, which I used twice while I was there. The kitchen was very well stocked, and it was wonderful to have so many choices to watch on TV. The bed linens were lovely, and I slept very comfortably. Thank you to Kathryn for such a warm welcome when I arrive late, and I’m so grateful for this wonderful stay. I will definitely stay here again. on my way out to Colorado, as I travel this way at least once a year. Highly recommend this place. 👍

We had a wonderful time at The Lodge. There was so much space for our kids to run and play. We loved sitting around the fire pit and making smores. Will definitely stay again next time we are visiting Norfolk!
