The photos don’t do it justice - the views were immaculate, the location was excellent, and the home was a piece of serenity in Afton. Wendy was a wonderful host, very responsive, and kind. Would rent this again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I loved our stay at The Stable. It is larger than we expected and adorable on the inside. We walked to lunch (Delly Up) and had amazing sandwiches. Later we walked to Alex’s Taco Truck and had amazing, authentic Mexican food. Then we had Weasie’s Kitchen for breakfast and loved it as well. Zachary was very responsive and they had a binder of recommendations on everything local, which we loved. Highly recommend driving to The Blue Ridge Tunnel and walking it. Overall, we loved every part of a stay and would definitely stay here again!

I had a fabulous stay at this little cabin! It’s just the right size for two people to get away relax and enjoy hiking in nature that is literally right outside the door. Kate was fantastic hostess and always willing to help make the stay as comfortable as possible.

The cabin was lovely, comfortable, equipped with modern appliances, and it was easy to reach. 4 persons can stay comfortably, although we were only 2 occupants over the weekend. We could bring along our dog, who enjoyed running around in the garden. The view over the valley is absolutely spectacular. The balcony is large and one can sip a nice cup of coffee or an evening drink enjoying the view. The cabin is located about 30 mins. from Charlottesville and from other attractions, like Monticello. There are also plenty of breweries and wineries in the area, so you can make short excursions during the AM or PM and return to enjoy the rest of the time at the cabin.
