The Cozy Cottage

We are located 2 miles off I 35 in Decatur City. 10 minutes from Graceland College in Lamoni. 10 minutes from Little River Lake and have parking for boats and outdoor outlet available for charging boat batteries. Had a great stay! Cabin was quaint and relaxing. Loved the fire pit and pre stocked firewood was a nice touch! Couldn’t get WiFi to work (had to plug in router and no password anywhere I could find) and didn’t have cell service out there so couldn’t message host about it until after 10pm when I went back into town and they weren’t able to respond. Loved everything else about the place and will definitely be back!

I first want to start by saying, I myself am a 5-star Airbnb host for the last 8 years: I have very high expectations when traveling. Ryan & Carrie’s space was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! We were greeted by a neighbor pup that was incredibly friendly that just made us automatically feel at home. The surrounding were beautiful and we felt very wonderfully secluded. The home was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The beds were soooooo comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for cooking all meals. We took a beautiful drive to the actual Bridges of Madison County that was so great. We were so comfortable and I can’t say enough about this place and this cabin. You must must must select it. You will not be sorry! I more than highly recommend it!!!

Beautiful well appointed appartment in central location- for us it was close both to family and dining out/actvities. Host was quick to respond and fix when we had a small glitch with the key code. This location was a great value for the daily rate- Host was also able to extend our stay an extra day. Will definitely stay here again when visiting!
