Wallingford Getaway

BrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cozy and unassuming, Gina makes you feel at home. Fresh, homemade continental breakfasts were great! It is pet friendly, but ours stayed home. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring them next time. Nice fenced yard. We were in town for a graduation at Q Law. The unit is just a few minutes drive to downtown Wallingford and the Q campuses.

1st FL Mtn View Woodland Suite on Jiminy Sleeps 4

LourdesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The woodland suite was perfect for our weekend stay! Howard was responsive and accommodating when my plans had changed and was able to update my reservation as needed. The suite looked exactly like the pictures, and there were ample instructions on navigating the area (both for check-in and getting around the resort). The appliances were a mix of vintage for charm and modern for functionality and convenience. There was never a lack of amenities/toiletries either. The only downside, at no fault of the host, is if you happen to have noisy neighbors you'll unfortunately hear everything they do. The building itself seemed to have very thin walls, and paired with ski boots walking around it could get loud. The location though is still great for a ski-in/ski-out proximity

The Professors Flat

KarenRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.
A view of the surrounding area is captured from a third-floor balcony. The scene includes a clear blue sky, distant mountains, and a neighborhood with street views and local shops. Trees line the street, enhancing the natural setting.

4 bedroom duplex.

StaceyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
My family enjoyed our stay at Tanya’s place. The house was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. Tanya’s recommendations were helpful, and there was plenty to do in Harlem, including shopping, restaurants and a comedy club. However, we spent most of our time in downtown Manhattan, which was an easy train ride away. Great NY vacay!
The living room features a spacious wrap-around sofa positioned beside large windows allowing natural light to fill the space. A ceiling fan provides airflow, and a wooden bookshelf adds a decorative element. A coffee table and workspace are included for convenience.

Lake Retreat | Sauna, Hot Tub, Pool & Game Rm

VanessaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Monica’s space was wonderful. The outside spaces, common rooms, and bedrooms were all relaxing, enjoyable, spacious, well kept, and clean. Highlights included the hot tub, and outside deck area. To use the pool is a steeper fee per person than we would have liked for the crowded area - not a knock to the host just a heads up for renters :)

Victorian Charm cozy unique work or play 30min-NYC

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful old home — perfect for our family gathering! The house is full of charm, with plenty of space to relax and spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there were so many thoughtful extras throughout that made our stay extra comfortable. The backyard and garden are fabulous and made for a lovely spot to unwind, while the front porch was simply gorgeous — a favorite spot for morning coffee. The location was also super convenient to both the city and the train station, and the surrounding neighborhood is full of unique and historic homes, perfect for a quiet stroll. Most importantly, our host was incredibly helpful and accommodating from start to finish — it really made all the difference. We truly appreciated her kindness and hospitality!

Historic Home w/lawn+gardens near Charming Towns

JasonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this charming retreat near Rhinebeck! The home was perfect for us and our dogs, with plenty of space to relax, a beautiful backyard, and a quiet, peaceful setting. The location was ideal—close to Rhinebeck and Red Hook for dining and exploring, yet tucked away enough for a true escape. Shane was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. I had several questions, and he always responded promptly and thoroughly, making our experience seamless. I even left a few items behind, and Shane kindly offered to send them back to me—such a thoughtful gesture. We’d love to stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!
