Hudson Lake fishing vacation rentals

This is our second stay in this home. Quaint, clean, and in the heart of New Buffalo. We loved that our dog could join us! Plenty of towels, linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities that made our stay comfortable. I highly recommend!

We rented this property for our family with two little children. Although a bit small , it worked well for our needs. Lovely area, with a short pleasant walk to Lake Michigan beaches. We used to live in this neighborhood so it was very nice to revisit the area.

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

I am still going to give a 5 star review regardless of a couple issues we had. First of all the house, amenities, and outside area are excellent and as described. The location feels very private and it is what we were looking for. We had 3 total issues during our stay, and 2/3 minimum were outside of the owner's control. During our drive in the Benton Harbor area had 60-70mph straight line winds that blew the outside furniture into the driveway. This storm also caused water to bypass a window and get the floor a bit dirty. Owners drove out early next morning and replaced outdoor furniture and I wiped up the water in the house. In the morning we realized the hot water was out. Owners immediately drove back out and investigated. They happened to have a property that was vacant at the time, and gave us access to it to drive there and shower. Overall communication and response was excellent. Owners made us whole, and I would recommend.

Cool place with great design.

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

We had an amazing stay to celebrate a milestone birthday with my extended family! The house comfortably fit 4 families and a labradoodle and was excellent for the 5 kiddos. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic for cooler than expected temperatures Memorial Day weekend and kept the kids entertained. We opted to cook and grill at the house and had everything we needed. The house is also super close to the beautiful New Buffalo beach. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

We stayed at Casita del Lago for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier with it. The little house was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything thought through and taken care of. How clean it was was a huge bonus to us and Vic and Jess were awesome every step of the way. There were so many nice little details; we really enjoyed how there was everything from a toaster and a coffeemaker to kayaks and bikes. The area is definitely a hidden gem with tons of great food, lakes and parks, and nice things to do close by (go visit Little Chocolates if that’s your thing. It’s a cute shop with wonderful handmade chocolates and caramel). We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again for our next trip to Dune-land!

I rented Leah's home for my son's. They love to fish and Leah's home was the perfect place. They enjoyed the pontoon boat and sitting around the bonfire. The house was clean and kitchen equipped with everything needed for their weekend of grilling. Leah was a perfect host. Thank you, Michelle

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

We had a fabulous weekend at Karen's cottage. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect getaway from the city noise. Her thoughtfully curated home felt like stepping into a quaint 70's oasis. The home backs up to a heavily wooded area and our pup could not get enough!

Great stay! Very hospitable. Had some snacks, water, coffee ready for us which I thought was a nice gesture. Lots to do within a 10 min drive.

Can’t say enough great things about this place! So peaceful and has the best view of the lake ! The added kayaks and canoe was great as well!

This place is small yet quaint! Looks like new construction, very updated, and comfy. Even a cute private patio just for us! The bathroom was large, expensive appliances in kitchen, and comfortable king size bed. It was perfect for the two of us!

Donna is a wonderful host! The cottage was the perfect spot for a quick getaway—it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the large, fully fenced-in yard for our dogs and the screened-in back porch, which was perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped, and the quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful retreat. Plus, it’s within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Three Oaks, which was a big bonus. Be sure to check out Dreihart Wines and 6 Linden while you're in town, offering amazing German-style wines and a great selection of specialty groceries and imported foods. If I had to mention one downside to our stay, it would be that the beds felt a bit worn and not as comfortable as we’d hoped. That said, everything else about the stay more than made up for it, and I’m still giving Donna and her charming cottage a full 5 stars!

Great place. I wish I would have gotten there at check-in time, so I could have enjoyed the river more!

Cozy place with a comfortable atmosphere that added some great relaxation time to our family trip. Jose provides lovely amenities and a clean environment.

What a gem! And 3 very kind, friendly, generous hosts made our mother-daughter trip the best ever. The cabin was pristine and included unexpected extras. We felt so welcome to be there. The farm is beautiful, and the cabin has multiple comfortable seating areas for enjoying nature. We learned how peaceful it is to sit near the babbling creek and gentle waterfall and watch the adorable little goats go about their daily routine. Yet it was an easy drive to good restaurants and Lake Michigan. I dont have enough space to tell you how wonderful this place is. Just go there. We will certainly return.

We stayed here to be able to hike at the Indiana Dunes. The place was great for my husband and me--we had everything we needed! Everything looked great and was very comfortable.

Jacqueline was very helpful and descriptive about everything regarding our visit. Her home felt very peaceful and is a great choice if a lake is what you are looking for. Will likely stay here again.
