Clean, comfortable accommodation with a beautiful view across rural North Devon. Ideal base for our two days cycling the Tarka Trail. Linny was very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived and enjoyed the beautiful garden. A wonderful stay - thank you!

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

Raleigh cottage was wonderful - it’s a beautifully restored, well equipped thatched cottage surrounded by lush green woodland in rural north Devon. The setting was so tranquil that we stayed in at cottage a lot of the time instead of venturing out. In fact the setting was so picturesque and quiet we decided to stay an extra night! Myles and Sarah are delightful hosts, so helpful with great recommendations for local restaurants and sights for when we decided to explore. We can’t wait to come back to stay there again!

What a find!! We absolutely loved Becky’s place. The views are outstanding, the photos don’t do it justice. The lodge is very private and peaceful with only the sound of the birds and local farm animals. The lodge its self is very spacious and comfortable with everything you need. We will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely home, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for 4 legged friends with a secure garden and suitable furnishings etc. The home is in a lovely area , with great views over the estuary from the rear of the house, particularly the main bedroom. Bideford itself is very pretty and a good base for exploring North Devon as it is close to the A39 / Atlantic Highway.

The BANYAN is absolutely stunning, the décor, the style, the location are all amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and it was so relaxing and chilled, something that my wife and I really needed. We couldn't fault anything, from the responsive Alex and Jules, the instructions for everything, the high quality furnishings, the welcome pack, the peaceful surroundings. This is most certainly a place that we will visit again. A good base for a beautiful part of England, and we would highly recommend staying here. The photo's don't do the BANYAN justice! If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind in this part of the world then book it, you will not be disappointed. We are so grateful that we discovered this beautiful place in North Devon as part of our “ plan as you go” driving holiday in the UK. Weare Giffard, is a hidden gem and Audrey’s annexe is the perfect place from which to explore it! The room has been beautifully presented and the goodies basket of scones, jam, cream, biscuits and fruit was very generous! Everything you could possibly need has been supplied in the bathroom, right down to a sewing kit and toothbrush charger! The annexe is separate from their home, with its own driveway which made it very private. It has a beautiful garden and views and a short walk from the local pub with its very friendly owners and patrons… not to be missed. Thank you Audrey for this trip highlight.

Me and my partner have just got back after spending 4 nights at the little barn. Everything was as described. The photos don’t do the size justice it is huge! More than enough space for 2 people. The decor is lovely and just to our tase. The shower is amazing! It was lovely to see the horses and pony right outside the kitchen and bedroom window. Also the chickens roaming freely. Everything we wanted or needed plus more was there, tea, coffee , sugar and milk for when we arrived, oh and the lovely farm fresh eggs, these were delicious! The kitchen is kitted out perfectly. The hot tub on the decking area was an added bonus, watching the sun set of an evening whilst enjoying an Aperol spritz was amazing. Also the bbq was a superb added touch. Philippa was a perfect host! There if you needed. Philippa also advised us of places to go, I can highly recommend Tavistock, a lovely town only half an hour away. There’s plenty of places to visit. We have already booked for next year!
