Tucked in a serene nook of the breathtaking Colestin Valley, this tiny house was built with reclaimed and repurposed materials from a historic local housing district. A pair of outdoor, porcelain bathtubs and seasonal fire pit complete the unique, private setting—primed for travelers wanting to get off the beaten path, but within five minutes of I-5, also a convenient stop for road trippers looking to break up a long drive. The Aloha House is located just above the University and only 1.5 miles from downtown Ashland. Nestled up a hill in the forest, you'll be transported to your own little private resort-like getaway with stunning views, architectural design that brings the outdoors in, and ample space for dining and entertaining poolside. The property consists of two separate studios (both included) connected by a unique outdoor living space with a seasonal pool, spa, outdoor shower, bar & BBQ, and more!

Mountain House property studio apartment

It is located on the property of the historic Mountain House built to house travelers on the Emigrant Trail. A few years later it became a tavern and stage coach stop. A newly remodeled, upstairs studio apartment with beautiful views, a very private space. For several years this was a large room where we held house concerts. In 2019, I converted into a studio apartment with bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom (queen for 2 adults), and sitting/bedroom (bed for child or small adult).
