In the school building where we live as a family, we transformed the superstructure into B&B. In the 5 meter high local, we built a loft where there is a double bed and 2 children's rooms. We give sports classes in the gym, feel free to join or go for monkey cages with your children when it rains. Outside they can feed the chickens, pick up eggs, play on the square and directly in front of the school is a playground. At 5 minutes distance, a beach/nature reserve. Good to know: it's without breakfast.

Despite the typically changeable East Frisian weather, I took every opportunity to sit on the small terrace and enjoy the fresh air – a real highlight! The apartment was clean, cozy and equipped with everything I needed. Elena was a very pleasant and uncomplicated hostess. I didn't miss anything and would stay here again anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time in Emden! ☀️🏡

Our stay in this beautiful cottage was just great. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The location is ideal – quiet and idyllic, but still well connected. We particularly liked the proximity to the zoo in Emmen, which we could easily reach. The charming cheese shop was also a great insider tip from Anne-Marie. Typically, in addition to the cheese, we also bought an Old Jenever, the traditional Dutch juniper, and had Hagelslag for breakfast. And of course, the hot tub was just fantastic for relaxing. For nature lovers, the nearby forest is ideal for walks or bike rides. We enjoyed the peace and the fresh air very much. Anne-Marie and Marnix were super friendly and helpful, communication was straightforward and they responded quickly. There wasn't even a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival 😊 Conclusion: An absolutely recommended accommodation, we will be happy to come back.

We had a nice few days at Jan's. The apartment offers everything you could ever need. In the village there is everything you need. Emmen is also easy to reach. It's nice to have peace and quiet for a while if you're used to big city noise!

We enjoyed our stay at TheDa's place. It is a brand new apartment that has a clever layout and is lovingly furnished. You have everything you need and feel right at home. Within walking distance you are right in the city center. Communication with Theda was always quick and very friendly. We can recommend this place without hesitation!

So here we felt right at home! Loving design in everything as well as perfect cleanliness make the arrival as in a 2nd home very easy. Very good instructions, very clear and complete, no questions remain unanswered! The restaurant tips were all super good and we always had a good time on the excursions - favorites: Restaurant Kabajs and Castos, walk on the wall, of course the art gallery... Excursions to the north/Norddeich, Aurich and Greetsiel were also great. The most wonderful thing was the incredible friendliness of the East Frisians, consistently and simply pleasant to spend a relaxing time in the fresh North Sea air. Glad to come back!

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. Also nice was the sun in the front garden, where we could have breakfast quietly. The location is nice and quiet, so we were able to sleep really well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back. Finally, I would like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, wonderful week. Comfortable apartment in a perfect location - quietly located, but very well suited as a starting point for activities by car, bike or on foot. We were able to safely park our bicycle and car on or at the premises. In very good weather, we enjoyed the time on the terrace. Overall, we had a very good time in the beautiful apartment. Marion was always available for questions. Arrival and departure went absolutely smoothly. We will definitely be back! What I personally noticed; the apartment was larger than it appeared to me in the pictures, which of course we were very happy about.

We spent a weekend with two families including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with every comfort. The children have enjoyed the space with table tennis table, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it was raining outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the surroundings. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. THANKS for the hospitality Mieke!
