Cabin vacation rentals in Honshu

This place was the perfect peaceful getaway. I was greeted by the host upon arrival and shown everything about the space and property. It was about a 5 min drive to the lake. The sauna/cold tub/hot tub cost extra but was a great addition. Gorgeous property and immaculate, private guest house to stay in. Would love to stay here again!

It was very easy to understand and polite.The inn is surrounded by nature and in a calm location, and there were many places to visit nearby, such as suspension bridges and cafes, so it was nice.In addition, you can rent an electric bicycle, so I was able to easily walk around the area.I'd love to stay again.

I have used it before, and this time the check-in location was different, but I was informed in advance, and it was very smooth. It was very clean, the view was beautiful, and the directions were easy to understand. There were a lot of people staying, but they handled it very nicely, making sure there were enough amenities and dishes. Thanks to you, I had a very pleasant stay.

Nice cabin for the most part. Descriptions are accurate. Maybe it's better during the brighter season. Early June is too dark. The area is quite dark at night , hard to come up if you're driving. The area surrounding is not to my interest. I wish I could use the hot spring, it was way too hot even after draining out with refilling with cold water. There were no instructions for it.

We were able to use the message quickly, politely, and comfortably.

The wooden house is very comfortable and cozy, very similar to a ski cabin hhh, the audio-visual room is very convenient to use, and it brought a lot of fun to our trip ~

First of all, the entrance and interior were very good!The furnishings and furniture of the log house were unified, and the paintings showed the owner's sense! Next, the sauna was amazing!A barrel sauna where you can hear birds chirping and the river flowing.Totono is a space that sauna lovers will love, with fluffy ponchos, a white birch sauna aroma, and sauna hats.The water bath right after you leave the sauna is also great.The new green of the early morning seen from the deck chair looking up at the greenery also enhanced the healing space!! At the night BBQ, we were able to enjoy the deliciousness of Nasu with the owner's recommended meat and sake.The ambassador of Nasu-cho made the best choice! The gas grill was also a large, authentic one that could grill a lot of ingredients at once! Finally, the location was great, with the Kogen Marche, Penny Lane, Safari Park, famous soba noodle shop, and Seiryu no Sato all nearby.

I'd love to stay again.

The interior was beautiful, and it was very enjoyable to be able to freely enjoy the barbecue and fire.

Had an awesome stay at Mark’s place, he was very hospitable, picked us up from the station and dropped us back off afterwards. The house was great and cosy and having the car made it really helpful to get around Hakuba. Definitely recommend to anyone staying here

It was very clean, well equipped, and a very fulfilling stay! I couldn't have a BBQ outside because of the rain, but the hot plate inside was also fun☺️

I give this B&B a full five-star recommendation!I chose this B&B because the photos were beautiful and the price was right, and the location was not a consideration.I didn't expect to find out later that the B&B was located on an island and that cars couldn't reach it directly. I was a little worried at first.Fortunately, the owner provided very clear instructions, including the location and timetable of the ferry, and the whole trip went smoothly. This was also the first time in my life that I experienced a car ferry, and it felt both novel and happy! The view around the B&B is very beautiful, and the wooden decoration in the house makes the environment quiet and relaxing. The barbecue grill adds a rich atmosphere to the accommodation. Although the B&B is located in nature, there are many insects outside the house, but when you enter the house, the insects disappear without a trace, which is very surprising. The house has a hammock, and the view from the window is an endless green grassland.But the most unfortunate thing was that it rained that day, and we couldn't enjoy the starry sky in the homestay introduction, which was a small regret.If I get the chance, I'll definitely come again, especially for the stars at night!Also very grateful for the friendly attitude of the owner, overall, this is a great value stay, highly recommended for travelers who love nature and adventure!

I stayed with 6 children and adults. The children were 6 years old and 2 years old, but there were many covered playgrounds even in the rain, so they could continue to play without getting bored!! The room had stairs, so I was a little worried, but they continued to play outside without entering the room, so there was no need to worry about the stairs. The second day was sunny, so we had a very fulfilling time playing in the river next to the cafe and picking blueberries!We definitely want to go again!

The host was present at check-in and gave a very clear explanation.The facilities and amenities were as described, and as shown in the photos, it was very clean and there were many tools that could be used, such as dishes, which was helpful. I definitely want to use it again.

We had a fun time using it with 7 friends! The design was especially nice (^ ^) There are a few insects because it is in a natural environment, but not enough to be of concern. We will definitely consider staying again, as we received a high rating and the attractive benefit of receiving "white wine" for our next stay!I think it is a space that I can fully recommend even without the benefits!

Nice place for a getaway. Very clean.

This is a great place to stay! My family has stayed in the house for 3 nights and found it not enough. The house is magnificent and made of natural wood. We can have a nice scent of wood after entering the house. The house is very well equipped with all sorts of necessity, in particular, two heaters, which functioned very well and warmed up the house comfortably. The house has also a nice few towards the Mount Iwaki. There were a few beautiful cherry blossom trees planted in front of the house, which makes a stunning picture. The location can be conveniently accessed from mainly road. The nearest main city – Hirosaki is only a 25-min drive, where you can find a gorgeous castle and enormous blossom trees. Convenient stores or supermarket are readily available within a 10-min drive. The host – Aki-san is very nice and knowledgeable. He made a very smooth check-in and explained everything very well. We also had a wonderful dinner in his restaurant!

We had a very good time in a very nice location with great facilities. I was relieved that they answered my questions right away. I stayed with my family and children, and the children were really happy to have a valuable experience.Thank you. I want to use it again. Thank you!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at Villa HASEGAWA in Yamanakako. The host 弘義 was incredibly friendly and helpful. We asked many questions before and during our stay, and he patiently answered all of them, Even though we arrieved quite late at around 8pm, but he was still there to warmly welcome us. He even recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which we really enjoyed. The villa was perfect for a family - spacious, clean and cozy. Truly a great experience. Highly recommeded!!!

Staying at Dan's place was a great experience! Dan is a very responsive host and offered to pick us up from the station upon arrival. He gave us local recommendations around Hakuba area and checked in with us multiple times to check if all was well. Really appreciated that. The area is quiet and you don't hear anything during the night. Recommended to rent a bike/car to reach Hakuba town easily. The cabin is amazing and the upper bedroom is very convenient!
