The exterior of a Georgian mansion showcases a charming brick façade with a thatched roof. Sunlight highlights the well-maintained garden, which features manicured lawns and trimmed hedges. A gravel driveway leads up to the front entrance, framed by flowering plants.

A welcoming road sign reading 'Welcome to Devon' is prominently displayed against a rural backdrop. Below the main message, a lighthearted reminder encourages individuals to appreciate the scenery, indicating the area's limited mobile phone signal. The sign is bordered by greenery, adding to the inviting atmosphere.

Cosy Twin Room, Beautiful Victorian Villa, Torquay

The quality of the accommodation and the friendliness of Phillipa and David were exceptional. I made use of a shared kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner, Phillipa offered a dining room to eat in so as to have privacy if I wanted it. The bedroom and shower were immaculate. Overall a fabulous weekend.

Nook of the Bay: A Charming One Bed Apartment

GeorgeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was my very first Air BnB stay! I chose the Nook as we needed somewhere to stay close in Torquay to fit our budget. The Nook had everything we needed, it was cozy and very clean. Easy to access from the road and only a short walk to Torquay seafront and high street. The Nook had a comfortable bed, great toilet facilities and a lovely large living room and space! It is a little bit cramped due to being a converted space but you soon get used to it Everything works as it should and has everything you need. Stocked kitchen, clean bathroom, TV, wifi, games books and DVDs, seating and a comfy bed. The host was incredible, she replied almost instantly whenever I had an issue and resolved all problems for me, even going above and beyond Storage is limited so we mostly lived out of a suitcase, but we soon got used to it and were more than happy! Perfect for a small little cozy space to spend a few days! Thanks a lot 😊
An aerial view captures the lush greenery surrounding Cockington Village and the expansive coastline beyond. The landscape features open fields, wooded areas, and clusters of residential homes, with the sea visible in the distance under a clear blue sky.

Beautiful peaceful cottage, with enclosed private garden during your stay. Home from the minute to step inside. Everything you need and more. Very clean and tidy, light and airy. Easy communication with David and Jane, ver friendly. Cockington is a beautiful village, lots of walks on your doorstep but spitting distance into Torquay, Paignton, Brixham. The village pub and Cockington Court minutes away from the cottage. Would not hesitate to recommend. Can't wait to our next visit. Thank you David and Jane.

Had an easy comfortable stay at Ildiko's house for 3 nights. There is on street parking and the house is not too far from the beach either. The host was friendly to chat with, and was very helpful.
