Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

We were there with the family and had a very good time. The pool was bigger than expected and the garden is great. Everything was the same as the photos. The garden has grown in nicely, so you don't notice anything from the neighbors. The equipment was very good. Beautiful beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The nearby village of Asnæs is quite small, but there are 2 supermarkets and a good bakery, so you get everything essential.

We were 2 adults and 2 small children away for an extended weekend. Beautiful little cottage with the most beautiful garden! Plenty of room for ball games, badminton and hide and seek. Beautiful pool and trampoline were the icing on the cake. Nice amenities, neat and clean. Jeanne was quick to respond to questions. We'd love to come back another time!

A great place to stay with everything you need

Super cozy stay. Very flexible, real and service-minded host. Nice area and cozy cottage. Absolutely worth the money.

It was a lovely place, quiet surroundings, close to shopping when you have a car, but you can walk. The home had everything we needed, but we were missing a thermos, for the coffee, Here we would come back to if it should be😊

Super nice summerhouse which has everything you need to spend some relaxing summer days: cosy beds, everything to cook, a lovely terrace and garden with outdoor seating, the sea to both sides very close. The house is bright and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Quiet, quiet, quiet. Here you can just switch off and relax. The accommodation is fantastically located. It is equipped with everything you need. It was great that we were allowed to use all the amenities on the property. There was a lot to explore in the surrounding area. We had a very nice relaxing and restful vacation in Marie-Louise's house and can only recommend it. Thank you for the wonderful time.

The cottage is located on an end plot overlooking nature, which we loved - and the place is decorated with many cozy outdoor nooks. Inside, the place exudes “real summer house vibe.” It has personality, soul and charm! This is not the last time we visit this place 🙂

The house and garden were wonderful and the surrounding area offered lots of excursion options. Jan was a very nice host. We can absolutely recommend the house.

We had a wonderful stay at Anastasia's! Everything was very clean and we didn't miss anything. There were two of us. The house was perfect for two people. However, we could imagine that it is a bit small and cramped for 4 people. The garden with barbecue and sun terrace is a dream and on foot you can walk about 30 minutes to the Baltic Sea. Had a great vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at Annette's charming house in the woods. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway—peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by nature. Plus, it's just a short bike ride away from an amazing white sand beach. The house is well-equipped with everything you might need, which made our stay incredibly easy and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some time in nature!

Marie's cottage was the perfect setting for some really relaxing days in Ellinge Lyng. Walking distance to the water, surrounded by bushes and trees, sunny terrace and cozy, comfortable and stylish decor. Marie communicated super fast and was really sweet and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for more:)

Great cozy accommodation with a nice garden and plenty of space for a larger family. Beautiful peaceful environment with proximity to the beach. Friendly hosts with lots of excursion tips. Simply relaxing and a paradise for children.

We stayed for 6 lovely June summer days and enjoyed morning and morning sun on the balcony with magnificent views of the fjord with the west coast of North Zealand on the horizon. We swam in the morning from Nordstrand (10 min by car north) and a single day in the fjord at Sandskredet (15 min by car south), where there was less wind. We visited Anneberg Park for 4 days (food market, long table dinner, forest walk and Michelin restaurant Mota). Please note that the home is on three floors with stairs from the kitchen/living room down to the bathroom and up to the bedroom. And that there is a low ceiling for some beams and the exit door in the bathroom. Also, be careful when the car is going out on the road from the parking space next to the home. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed dinner in the evening sun down in the garden chairs right next to the water.

We've been an extended weekend at Lisa's summerhouse. It's a really cozy house that's well decorated. There is a terrace on both sides of the house, which is really lovely. We had a few clarifying questions during the stay. Lisa responded quickly and graciously. We highly recommend this house.

We really enjoyed our 10 days stay in this cabin. It had everything we needed for a quiet vacation and we particularly enjoyed the fireplace. One highlight was also being visited by deers almost daily. The cabin is located just a short walk away from a beautiful beach with white sand which is perfect for swimming. Anne and her husband were super friendly and very quick to react and support whenever we had a question. We can definitely recommend it!

The house and its location are simply beautiful. It is very spacious and the terrace with the swing can be enjoyed in any weather. It is equipped with everything you might need. You are in the middle of the forest and close to the beach, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening. There are many supermarkets and attractions nearby. You can also get to Roskilde and Copenhagen relatively quickly. When we had a problem, we were able to reach Ture immediately and he also immediately took care of a solution to the problem. We felt very welcome.

It was lovely, we had a relaxing time. Cooking and enjoying the garden. Close walk to the sea. And really good attention:)
