Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hjelmeland Municipality

Vi satte pris på at huset var rent og ryddig samt at det ligger i gangavstand til Stavanger sentrum.

This home was beautiful, and has stunning views of the nearby fjord. We stayed one night and would have gladly spent several more. There is a hot tub, movie room, games, hair dryer, and multiple kitchen amenities. I was impressed by the number of spaces to relax and enjoy the views. I hope to be able to explore Strand more in the future.

En flott og vel utstyrt leilighet i et rolig nabolag, svært sentralt! Kort vei til restauranter og uteliv. I tillegg var nærmeste nabo et unikt bakeri der vi fikk kjøpt ferskt brød hver morgen.

Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

It was a fantastic stay and besides the fact that the place is lovely, the hospitality of Jostein made our holiday to be special. Thanks a lot!

The host is super super warm. There's walking trails in the island that we used to explore the surrounding. The house was built in 1883 but extremely well maintained.

Hyggelig vert. Fin leilighet som inneholdt vårt behov. Ryddig og rent. Fine områder i nærheten, stier og gang/sykkelveier. Ligger litt utenfor Stavanger, men enkelt å komme seg dit f.eks med tog eller sykle. Vi hadde bil. Anbefaler leiligheten dersom du ikke trenger å ligge midt i by'n.

Ein modernes, ruhig gelegenes Haus – sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Kontakt war stets freundlich und professionell. In der Unterkunft lagen die Hausregeln, Reinigungsanweisungen sowie hilfreiche Informationen rund um den Aufenthalt bereit. Auf Fragen wurde zügig und zuverlässig reagiert. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter und würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la vue est imprenable et le logement agréable ! Un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant par Tone et Trond, les parents de Léna avec même des gaufres maison à notre arrivée. Une communication facile avec Léna, un grand merci 😊

Erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Anders en Torhild. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, ziet er prachtig uit en heeft een prachtige ligging. Dichtbij een baai waar je kunt zwemmen, suppen, hiken en varen. Anders en Torhild waren erg vriendelijk. Echt een plek om nog een keer naar terug te gaan. En dan voor een langere periode.

We had a great time in this accomodation! The accomodation was even bigger than expected and a great location if you want to go for the preikestolen hike. Nothing to complain about!

Et rigtig fint ophold. En lille fin lejlighed med alt hvad man skulle bruge til sit ophold. Nem adgang til det lille skicenter. Vær opmærksom på, at der kun er en lille købmand med det man har brug for - dog lidt dyr - og ellers langt til andre handlemuligheder. Så det kan give god mening at handle på vejen. Satu var en god vært, der svarede hurtigt og var meget behjælpelig i forhold til vores spørgsmål.

Hadde et utrolig fint opphold her. Verten svarte raskt og var veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende. Alt var i skjønneste orden og leiligheten sto til all forventning. Anbefales:)

The stay was amazing. Felt alone. Great view. Cozy. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Bjarne’s place. The barn is equipped with functionalities. Do not expect excessive luxury, but everything works perfectly and the place has a cozy nautical theme that fits the location perfectly. We loved it! We could use the great outdoor space as well and immediately felt welcome by the family. Bjarne gave us great recommendations about the area; the fresh shrimps on thursday/fridays, great hikes and beautiful scenic route that really made the difference during our stay. It was our first time in Norway and we could never have found these ourselves. Next to this we enjoyed the drinks together at the end of the day and the conversations that we had. Wow. what a shame that we booked only for two nights! The property is located at one of the best location we were at Norway, feels like home away from home. The house is well equipped with everything we could have imagined and more. The parking is a bit far from the apartment, but one can get close for unloading the car. The stairs for the upper floor are a bit tricky for the young kids. Nevertheless - totally worth to stay while in Norway.

The accommodation surpassed our expectations. We had the honour of being the first guests after the renovation, and we could see immediately how much love and work Lene and Joakim have put into it. It was definitely an upgrade compared to what we saw on the photos when we booked our stay. Some cosmetic details had not been finished yet, but we didn't mind at all, and Joakim was very transparent and has sent images of the work in progress several times. In general, Joakim was super exact and detailed in his communication. The house is great, we especially liked the peaceful view over the lake and the quiet surrounding. We particularly enjoyed hiking to Sendingfossen/Hiafossen/Hiabolt, highly recommended.

Z całego serca polecam to miejsce na długi i krótki wyjazd zarówno z rodzinna jak o przyjaciółmi. Jest to świetne miejsce wypadowe z którego można pojechać na wiele ciekawych miejsc wartych zobaczenia. Można stąd dojechać w niewielkiej odległości do Stavanger, Preikestolen, innych gór i tras górskich. Idealne dla osób, które lubią więcej spokój i cenią sobie ciszę i relaks. Samo mieszkanie wygląda lepiej, niż na zdjęciach. Jest świetnie wyposażone, bardzo czyste i zadbane. Właścicielka jest komunikatywną osobą, która odpowiadała na wszystkie wiadomości i była pomocna w każdej kwestii. Mogę śmiało powiedzieć, że to jest najlepszy nocleg w jakim do tej pory byłam

We have changed our bookings on short notice and Inger was a very flexible, friendly and pragmatic host. The house is small but very cosy. Feels like typical for Norwegian tradition. The bath is recently renovated and offers modern comfort. The house is located in a quite lovely surrounding with plenty of opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities. Stavanger as a major town can be reached by car easily via tunnel in 30 minutes. If you want to relax and recover in a quite area and impressive nature, this house is the place to choose.

The cabin might be a little tricky to find at first but in exchange you get a cabin that's very private and has an impossibly beautiful view. It's the perfect place to relax, especially with beautiful weather as the sun shines into the living room the entire day.

We had wonderful days in Ase & Peters cabin. The view and terrace is perfect. The cabin is really beautiful and very well equiped. The nature around is wonderful. Ase and Peter are very friendly and great hosts.
