Newly renovated guesthouse in the heart of Småland

Welcome to the beautiful little resort of Åminne on the western shore of the Vidöstern. Here you can stay in a newly renovated guest house with shower, toilet, kitchen, kitchen island, double bedroom and a sofa bed with room for two. The building was formerly used in the world as a workshop but has been carefully refurbished with many old details saved. Here you live a stone's throw from Åminne Bruk and Lake Vidöstern. It is also close to other excursions such as High Chaparall, Vandalorum, Store Mosse and others. The guesthouse is about 50 sqm.

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

The Little House by the Lake Fiolen

Welcome to Åkhult and our little house located on our farm, 18 meters from our dwelling house. When you look out of window or door you will see Lake Fiolen. This lake is a spring lake with very clear water. Here you can both swim and go fishing. Around the lake there is a small road of 8 kilometers. There are many who walk, run, or bike. No matter how you get around the lake, you'll get through two more villages. You walk through beautiful nature and can look at cows, sheep and horses. Welcome, welcome. Katja & Erik

Treehouse in the Småland forest

A unique and peaceful home in the midst of forest. In this treehouse you live up among the trees on a quiet and peaceful place with animals, birds and nature as neighbors. Here the noise level is quiet, it smells of forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house stands in and the insulation is shavings from the floors and walls. For us, it's organic and local important to take care of.

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.
