Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Higuey

I've been to a lot of places in the area - and this was by far the best of all. Very nice surroundings, quiet, safe and the absolute highlight was the mega comfortable bed. Large great rooms and cabinets with plenty of storage space. The two bathrooms, perfect. Very fair prices for such a great villa with nice pool and well-kept outdoor area.

My family and I really loved the place. Very cozy and clean, just as in the pictures. In case of walking without a vehicle, there are bus stops in Friusa and taxis or Ubers that take you to the accommodation or where you want to move, you also have the option to order your purchases with delivery through the app de la Sirena or basic things in the colmado . Near the beach as described, security 10/10. I recommend it 100%.

My family really enjoyed our stay. The home was everything described in the listing, one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed , it smelled so clean when we arrived, the home is beautiful and located in a beautiful gated community. The host was very responsive and attentive. The location was literally minutes from the airport, grocery stores, and malls. I would recommend this stay to everyone.

We loved our stay Casa Duran! Bryan was so helpful and responsive to our needs, from booking transportation from the airport and back to giving us help throughout the week if we had any questions. We went to the supermarket (Nacional Supermarcado) on our way from the airport and got most of the food we needed. There are some cute upscale restaurants nearby as well. We rented a golf cart and are so glad we did. Not only was it fun, but it was so much easier to explore. There are also some smaller grocery stores/ markets nearby, but they didn’t have as big of a selection. Our location faced a beautiful pool area and the ocean. The landscaping was beautiful as well and we felt very safe there. One note, is that I wish we could’ve come on a different month. We came in June and the seaweed was really bad on almost all of the area beaches, rendering them unusable & smelly. This is no fault of the condo, just nature. Thankfully we took a trip to Macao beach (gorgeous) & used the nice pool.

An excellent stay in a gated community just to the south of the airport (about a 10 min drive). The property was very spacious and comfortable with plenty of areas to relax. There are a variety of great restaurants about a 5 minute walk from the property. Natalia was an excellent host; very communicative and helpful with recommendations. She made the stay feel right at home and even came to greet me as I arrived to provide information on the local area. A highly recommended stay if you are looking for a place to relax and be away from the main strip in Bavaro. I would definitely stay again!

First of all, let me say, this is the first time I have written a review. Let me begin by saying this is THE BEST Air b and b that I've stayed in. The home is beautiful, and I loved the layout of it. The indoor outdoor floor plan is wonderful. It's like you're in a tropical oasis. It's very spacious and so are the bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The pool was clean, and I enjoyed the sound of the water fall coming from the beautiful fountain. There are all kinds of fruit trees in the yard, and the host gives you permission to eat them. Speaking of host. Just remember the name Felix. This man is thee best host I've encountered. If anything you need, he is there to make it right and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We didn't have a hair dryer, and right away, he sent us a brand new one. He also made his golf cart available to us so we could get around. The area is beautiful. I absolutely enjoyed my stay

I chose Nancy's property in Cocotal for Holy Week, dates when I prefer to spend in a peaceful, calm, and family-friendly environment, and according to her description, this would be the perfect place. Nancy describes her place in detail, and what she mentions is exactly what you'll get. It’s a safe place where peace can be felt, very comfortable and well equipped. I had never rented such a clean and sparkling space as this house; I highly recommend it, and of course, I would definitely come back.

Loved our stay! Lisa was a wonderful host—she personally welcomed us when we arrived early and even let us drop off our luggage and change before check-in, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. She also went above and beyond by giving us recommendations for local eats and activities. The Airbnb itself was clean, comforting, and relaxing, with three balconies overlooking the beach and palm trees. Pure paradise! While there is still some construction in the area, it wasn’t noisy at all and didn’t take away from the experience. Would definitely stay again!

excellent host and clean apartment

Great place nice host I loved how safe I felt when staying. security was so nice although it was a language barrier what can I expect I’m in there country. I loved it although the jacuzzi didn’t get Hot! ! The pool was amazing it felt like we had the place to ourselves not many bugs well no mosquitoes and we did notice our room had few ants if we weren’t cautious i definitely think it’s worth it not just for the amount but for the experience I had a renter car so it worked nothing more than a 20 min drive at most and the small beach was definitely a vibe just have exact cash they don’t hold change but will stay again hope the host feels the same

Once again I returned to my favorite place, when I come to this place I feel just like home This condo is close to everything in walking distance Jesus and Caroline are amazing people they are like family to me This is a place I recommend 100% To go stay .

No need to look any further, Estrella dominicus it’s great and keep in mind that the place it’s located next to all mayor resorts and it’s super safe. All restaurants are open late and service is excellent, lots to do including saona island excursions, nightlife and amazing restaurants including onnos by the beach which was amazing. Highly recommend this place

I had a wonderful experience at this BNB. From the first moment I felt right at home. The place is exactly as shown in the photos — clean, cozy and with charming decor that creates a very warm atmosphere. The bed was super comfy, everything was impeccably clean, and every detail was very well taken care of. The location is perfect, quiet but close to everything you need. Also, the host was very kind and attentive, always available for any questions or recommendations. I would definitely come back without thinking. I recommend it 100%!

It was a nice stay. The apartment is beautiful, the area is walking distance to the beach. Easy access to visit isla saona, which was beautiful. I wish the checking in would’ve been earlier and the check out later. We didn’t get to enjoy the apartment as much since island excursions are an all day thing. Thank you for letting us stay.

We stayed 3 nights. The private pool and view is so beautiful! very safe and there's a market right across the street for everything you need. Everyone was very kind can't wait to go back!

Communication was seamless! Olga was extremely responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish! Her recommendations and tips were very helpful. I can’t thank her enough, she really made my stay even better. She literally went above and beyond! This condo was absolutely like you see in the photos if not even better in person and beautifully decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The kitchen area was pristine and stocked with important essentials. Excellent for the moments I wanted to cook something quickly. Although I absolutely enjoyed all the restaurants within this oasis. I felt safe and ventured out using the golf cart, taxis and walked throughout my stay and really fell in love with this area. I was taken aback by the breathtaking views from the balcony, waking up to the sea everyday was a dream come true. I will be back very soon! Thank you Olga for the best time ever!
