Beautiful home on a perfect lake - I rented both houses for a shared bachelor week, and every was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, including setting us up with 7 kayaks. The houses were both better than they looked in the pictures, with large modern kitchens and nice furniture. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. Lastly, the docks are great, and there are lots of birds and fish around. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful, and the property was largely shaded so it was pretty cool throughout the day. There was a bunch of parking.

Gerald’s place with the perfect stop on a road trip through Florida. Having a washer and dryer and quiet, peaceful environment were much appreciated. Gerald was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

We are repeat visitors. This property is private enough to enjoy your stay with family but also located close enough to Ichetucknee Springs State Park to enjoy all the park amenities. We were able to tube, kayak, paddleboard and swim all the way down to the property from the State Park. We saw all sorts of wildlife from otters to deer, bats at night, owls. The location has all the essentials, and the hosts are very receptive to any needs or questions. Highly recommend!

Suwannee River Retreat was one of the best family vacations we have had! The home + dock + amenities are unmatched and it was the perfect getaway in nature for our family. The home's surroundings were beautiful- peaceful Suwannee River and nicely shaded yard. The dock was shaded most of the day, and was where we spent a good amount of time with some fishing and others kayaking. Our Easter 2025 weekend was so enjoyable and we're grateful for the memories made here. We will cherish this experience. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely retreat with us <3 A few notes for future travelers- kitchen has all you need. We brought things in case and didn't end up needing them. We were even able to have a nice holiday meal with all the serving dishes. We enjoyed Fanning Springs State Park, Hart Springs county park, Nature Coast Trail - Suwannee River Bridge.

My family and I loved this stay! It is well decorated and cozy. Kate is a very caring host and went the extra mile to make this weekend extra special for us. We would highly recommend for other guests to stay here!

This stay was amazing. Me and my family had a great time. We felt right at home. Everything was exactly how it looked in the pictures, except even better in person. We will definitely be coming back.

Reviews of Brian's house all said that it it was very peaceful, private and relaxing with a beautiful view from the deck. Which were all true. My husband and pup are very good at chilling and really enjoyed their down time there. I enjoyed the two seafood lunches at Cedar River Seafood located only a few miles from the house. They have the best gator tail, ever! Thanks, Brian for hosting us!

This is a nice condo in a very quiet and peaceful area. Several restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. Other restaurants within a short drive. Grocery stores nearby as well. We attended UF graduation and although this condo was a few miles longer drive than something closer to campus, it is well worth it. Haile Village is a nice area in Gainesville. We highly recommend renting this condo.

Can't say enough about how great a host James was. He was responsive in a timely manner everytime I had a question. The place was immaculate!! A well spent Birthday getaway!!

We enjoyed feeding the animals. We brought apples and carrots for them. The baby goats are adorable, and Highland cows and donkeys and ponies! We rented a slip for our bass boat at Sportsmans Cove nearby. The fishing was not very good maybe due to time of year, but we caught a few small bass. The hydrilla is thick throughout Orange Lake. The Airbnb had a comfortable bed. We requested an additional portable heater because the one heater wasn't enough for both rooms, and it was immediately provided. . The induction stove has only one burner, but there is also a crock pot and an air fryer and outdoor grill. As other reviews stated, the dogs do bark in the mornings at times, and roosters crow very early. We used ear plugs at night which helped us to sleep. Don't miss the huge old Live Oak in their front yard that's hundreds of years old!

Tomys place was absolutely beautiful. The pool was amazing, and the yard peaceful and private. The massage chair was the best! Very kid friendly as well. Would stay there again

Very beautiful scenery, everything was very clean. The host was very sweet and welcoming. 10/10 stay would recommend!

The unit was meticulously neat and clean. You have a great cleaning crew! Not a smudge on the white cabinets. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets and you have everything you need if you want to cook and eat in. There’s a complete set of kitchen appliances including Keurig coffee maker. The bathrooms and bedrooms are clean with lots of closet space. The grab bar in the shower is helpful. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The place is easy to find, a short drive to shopping area and lots of restaurants. 3 suggestions, maybe an ice tray cube in the freezer for when you have water jugs that you want fill up with ice and water to take out with you. Also maybe a bigger shower head, an inexpensive upgrade that will boost its look and functionality. And an extra towel hook in the bathroom. Overall a very nice place, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommended.

The place was very comfortable, clean, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. Jasmine even brought us over a watermelon from her garden❤️ We would most definitely stay here again!!

We are a family of 6 with a toddler. We split our vacation in half, a condo by the beach and house close to the springs. Everyone was in agreement that this house was definitely the highlight of the trip. Way better than expected, pristine and luxe. We all appreciated that everything we needed and wanted was provided, but not only that, but the best of it and in bulk. Sensitive skins over here, so sensitive products were a great touch. Appliances, pots and pans -- everything was quality. The primary bed -- Oh so comfy!! Could go on and on. If we get the opportunity, which we might because so many springs are close to here, would definitely come back.

Highly recommend this peaceful spot if you’re looking to recharge and check out a beautiful area about 30 min outside Gainesville, though it feels much further away when you’re there. Very convenient for multiple Temple of the Universe visits, access to trails and natural springs where you can swim, kayak and paddle board in crystal clear waters. The Chai home is just as sweet as pictured and the hosts were easy to work with and kind. The land is magical, you can’t not feel it. 💖 My solo 3-night stay was exactly what I needed.. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. The location was perfect. My husband and I visited for a few days with our two dogs, and kayaked around the Santa Fe, and Ichetucknee river. The dock was perfect to launch the kayaks out of, and let our dogs watch the fish, and the pavilion over the river was great to relax in and watch boats pass by. The yard was beautiful, landscaped, and entirely fenced in for the dogs ( there was even a fence/gate to separate the upper deck from front door/front steps.) We will absolutely be back again as soon as we can.

Host - very friendly and helpful. Alot of extras (smores, charcoal, toiletries, garbage bags, broom & swifter (my pet pieve) as I own a AirB&B cleaning company. I would recommend to those needed some place close to the springs and on an budget. RV has an outdoor cooking area, including mini fridge, which was great to keep the inside smelling nice. Sound system split floor plan, awesome! Thank you Daniel for everything.

We really enjoyed the property. No neighbors were visible, which I liked. The house was well appointed, and they clearly thought of the details.

The house was wonderful—super clean and stocked with lots of thoughtful amenities. I especially appreciated how everything was neatly labeled, which made it easy to settle in. The ping pong table was a big hit, and the kids never once said they were bored! It was about 20 minutes from Newberry, where my daughter had her tournament, so the location was very convenient. The home is tucked away, surrounded by lush greenery, and incredibly peaceful. The only downside was the number of insects. It’s summer in Florida and it had rained, so that’s to be expected, but there were a few large spiders that made their way inside. Other than that it was perfect for my family.

BEAUTIFUL cabin at the springs! My husband and I are always looking for new spots at the springs we are so glad we came here. We decided to come here for an early babymoon to relax at the springs away from busy summer at state parks. The Cabin so cozy and has all the comforts of home. There is also so many deer on the property they are always out around dusk or late afternoon it was so fun to see them! It is a very easy walk to the neighborhood private dock from the cabin and also quick walk when you get off the river back to the cabin (dock was recently redone). We estimated 10 mins walk from cabin to dock and then 10 mins walk from river exit to cabin. High Springs had great options for food and cutest coffee shop. We plan to go back sometime in the future.
