It is adjacent to an ATV trail and the snowmobile trails are 2 miles away. A Bocce Ball Court and various yard games are by request.

Our lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, we do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to our steep hill). We are near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. We have 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. Our cabin is on over 4 acres, plenty of room to relax. We have a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit grill and gas grill.

This was the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. This place was perfect for our family to enjoy time together. Loved that everything was located on one floor. Very quiet surroundings. We came from Michigan to celebrate our little brother’s birthday.

Keep in mind the house was built in 1910, it's an old house. We enjoyed our stay while visiting family in the area. House was well stocked and had ample room for 6 of us. Could easily walk downtown to shops and restaurants.

This small home is a perfect place is you want to spend the days on the lake, or if you want to use it as a home base for your other Northwoods adventures. Be sure to read the description of amenities, such as not being able to pour water down the sink and a port-a-potty as an outhouse, but we weren’t at all bothered by these things. We got to hear loons and sit on the dock at sunset, followed by hours of card games in the living room. Would definitely recommend for the price of a tiny house on the lake is what you are looking for!

We had a wonderful stay at the barndo. We used it as a home base to explore the northshore and Duluth. The space is peaceful and serene. We really enjoyed the lake and the ability to have a campfire that we could roast hotdogs and marshmallows at. Latisha was quick to respond when I had questions about the wifi. We would stay here again!
