Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Heysham

We came up just for a long weekend to watch the Pen-y-Ghent fell race. It was a family regroup so needed to be close to the railway. The cottage was lovely, had every we needed and everything worked. The hosts communicated everything we needed to know in good time and warmly which was much appreciated. There was plenty of information about the local amenities and had a lovely Father’s Day meal at the Bridge Inn in Tatham. The weather was a bit changeable which was a shame because I bet you can see a lot of stars without all the light pollution we get down south. It didn’t hurt the experience at all and we would definitely book again. Just need better knees to explore the locality. Thanks Alison and Simon for a lovely stay.

Lovely house, great views, within 30 mins drive to all main south lakes sights. Communication and check in all very easy and clear. We had a great stay :)

Perfect stay for visiting family in the area. Naomi was very helpful.

The cottage was beautifully located and the views were peaceful with the grazing sheep and cows. We found the small grocery store that was a 10 minute drive very convenient. Also, Lancaster was a little further and had anything you might need. Windermere was about an hour's drive from the cottage.

Absolutely lovely location on the end of a private road with farm animals and fields surrounding the property with a gorgeous river tracking down the valley adjacent to the property. Highly recommended

A well loved and super clean cottage in a surprisingly quiet part of Arnside. The garden is a little gem after a long day out in good weather. Thoroughly recommend and friends say I’m pretty fussy.

A lovely house, in an excellent situation within a few minutes of the city centre. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the milk and short bread were a nice surprise.

this was our second stay at Tina's place on our journey to and from Bournemouth and it was wonderfully quiet & peaceful. There were plenty things to do and see practically on the doorstep. Tina was very helpful and very quick to respond to any queries. She was also good to let us use her freezer for our frozen dog food. I'd definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the south lakes or as a halfway stopover as we did. We had everything we needed for a home from home stay. And Tina was kind enough to share the recipe for her wonderful flapjacks which I'll be trying very soon.

Thank you Donna for our one night stay. The children loved it. Very cosy. Everything we needed. Will hopefully stay again in the summer.

My partner, 2 year old son and I stayed here for a long weekend. Linzi was very helpful with clear communication and the property was exactly as shown, if anything more spacious than the photos give it credit for. The location was ideal for us and whilst we were out and about a lot the site was very peaceful and had good open areas nearby.

What a relaxing, beautifully appointed and tastefully accessorised lodge. We had everything that we possibly could need and the lodge was clean throughout. Additional garden was a bonus had the weather been better. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks Alma.

Had a lovely weekend in this beautiful lodge, weather was good and loved how the doors opened right up, perfect for outside living, a few drinks at night and breakfast on the decking in the morning. Loved the extra touches flowers, doggy basket with towels, treats etc.. was very home to home. Will definately like to return in the future.. thank you 😊

What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

Lovely stay. Martin was very easy to communicate with. Great to take dogs. Lovely quiet area and very accessible to the lakes.

Spotlessly clean, light and airy, warm accommodation, linen and towels were lovely and homely, kitchen complete with tall fridge/freezer was a massive bonus with the kids, easy to find, great communication from owner and a really good shower! We had some wet days and the caravan had games, TV, and a computer console that the kids used when needed. Would highly recommend!

Everything we needed was provided and Simone & Nigel excellent Hosts, beautiful well kept property and perfect location. Royal Hotel was ideal for parking( as located just behind the gate of the cottage ) with superb food and drink. Plenty areas to walk the dogs . Beautiful home. Clean, comfortable bed. Great location with restaurants and walking distance to the ferry. Angela met us to welcome us and answer any questions and recommend places to visit. Highly recommend! Heysham is a beautiful area and so is this home.

Sara was amazing all the way. Even helped out our friends with parking after they were let down by a different property. Also offered a late check out when we left. Beautiful house and immaculately clean. Thank you again Sara.

Great Caravan with comfy beds and spotless clean, definitely highly recommend seemed like a good holiday village although we were working not on holiday. 😂 Would definitely stop again

Stunning property, location was great for the wedding we attended in Poulton, it would also serve as a great base for exploring the local area. The house was exceptionally clean and Jill was very proactive and flexible with the sleeping arrangements for the 8 adults in our family party. It was very homely with everything you would possibly need. Jill even ran out with her personal sewing kit when we had a wardrobe emergency which saved the day. The bedrooms were lovely and spacious and the bedding luxurious. The bathrooms were spotless, We would highly recommend a stay here, it did not disappoint in the slightest. Worth every penny!!

We had an amazing stay, the place was incredible with everything you needed and plenty of space. Also Sally was super helpful giving updates before and throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here looking for a beachside getaway

Phill and Yardi and friendly hosts. Well organised instructions prior to arrival and were available if we needed any help during our stay. Private, clean accommodation with the use of a private hot tub if you wish. Would recommend staying here.
