Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hays County

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Fredricksburg for the Memorial Day weekend. We were hoping to stay in Fredricksburg, but everything was booked. We found Terry's place in Johnson City which is about 45 minutes east of Fredricksburg. It is very private area out in the Ranchland Hill Country. First off, the place is immaculately clean! Second you know you found a really nice place when your wife starts taking pictures of everything because she loves the style and décor! The check in instructions were very clear and concise. The place was very welcoming and relaxing. Terry left a very detailed notebook with suggested places to go, things to do, and places to eat. In the morning and evenings we saw deer on the property. We also saw several cardinals and other beautiful bird species. If you are looking for a nice relaxing get away and don't want the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you!

We had an amazing stay, and we would definitely recommend this Airbnb! Hayley was super accommodating and attempted to resolve any issues we had. The house is a short distance from the downtown area and has a path down to the river. If you want to go in the river, be sure to have some water shoes as the rocks are very slippery entering in.

Book this house! We absolutely loved our stay here! The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. The home was immaculate, with every amenity you could need. It is centrally located to many different restaurants, wineries and breweries. It felt safe and quiet and we saw so many deer on property. We ended up having to bring our children (4 & 3 yo) and it was perfect for them as well. They even found some kids toys and books to keep them busy and happy. The beds are very comfortable.. The showers heat up quick and provide great water pressure. It is the perfect home for 2 families or 4 couples with the bedroom and bathroom setups. Book it! You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Jon and Cherry's while visiting family in Austin. Cherry was great about communicating with us before we arrived and while we were there. Check-in was smooth and the home was perfect for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of seating in the living room and around the dining table. We enjoyed mornings and evenings in the covered porch and the coffee station was a fun addition. Thank you, Jon and Cherry, for making our first trip to Austin so enjoyable! We hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay, plenty of great amenities. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the rain the first night we were there, and we loved all of the outdoor spaces! Beautiful property!

We had a wonderful time at Mikes place in Driftwood. Peaceful snd private, but close to local restaurants and shopping. My kiddos loved the pool. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay was fun and easy! Khani's place was just as pictured online and her response time to any inquiries was quick; she answered all our questions in advance and made sure we had everything we needed upon check-in. We were in Austin to visit family and the location was perfect for us. Easy to get to a lot of conveniences. The Taco and Thai food trucks on the corner were delicious if your into food trucks. We enjoyed the breakfast tacos the most. The first and only rental in Austin where I didn't need a sleeping mask at night because the window coverings are great. Seems strange to mention, but it's been hard to find. We will definitely stay here again, as we come to Austin multiple times during a year.

Beautiful and peaceful spot that feels very removed from Wimberley while still being 5 min from town. Terry was very communicative and helpful from the time we booked and through our stay. We would happily stay here again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb experience. Reinhard & Caroline’s place is in the perfect location. Close to everything and safe surroundings. The Airbnb was very clean, bed was actually really comfortable, perfect amount of space. I would definitely stay here again.

We needed a place to stay after selling our house and before moving out of Austin a few days after. The location and house were great, and Molly was very responsive, flexible and helpful!

What a wonderful host and place to stay. This house is located right at the heart of downtown Buda and is a short walk to all the fun stuff to do around town. Not only that, the hosts are amazing and go above and beyond your typical host. For example, I lost an AirTag during my stay and within an hour of me leaving, they already had the AirTag in the mail. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Buda!

This was my second time staying at cedar cabin with my husband & mother/kids. We love the views and fire pit. You feel like you’re at a secluded cabin but everything is a short drive away! We will definitely be back!

My friends and i stayed here and it was great, the house was very spacious. The house is also in a great spot close to stores and close to the river. I would book again for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at Maria’s place, everything was perfect and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and always available for queries. The view is outstanding, the cabin is beautiful, clean, cosy, and beds / linen so clean and comfortable. We even had wildlife 🦌 approach the cabin ❤️ Will certainly be back x Only thing (outwith Maria’s control) to note is that we did struggle to get Ubers to the square, we all just squeezed in 1 car and I drove, not a big issue but just if you want to be in and out of the square / town.

My family and I loved staying at this cozy home nestled into the beautiful nature of the Texas Hill Country. Pulling in felt like arriving at a private resort, and we all enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck to watch the stunning sunset. Our kids loved playing in the perfect sized pool, and the adults loved the experience of relaxing in the sauna while listening to the birds sing outside. The retro arcade cabinet was a huge hit with the kids (and with me, I’ll admit), and we enjoyed watching a family movie on the projector screen upstairs (the kids felt like they were in a private movie theatre). Maria and Larry are incredibly welcoming and proactive hosts; if you need anything at all, they won’t hesitate to help. I could not recommend this place higher, and we definitely will be coming back!

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!
