Modern and newly appointed living spaces. Situated in our pleasant garden, with private parking outside the annex, in the rural village of Haxey. Close to many local amenities and close to the historic town of Epworth, Birthplace of John & Charles Wesley. We are a twenty minute journey from Robin Hood Airport and 15 minutes from the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, a must visit for Adults & children. Nearby leisure activities include many well established and renowned fishing lake complexes.

Our cosy little house is in the centre of the village of Messingham. There’s lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. Amanda is a wonderful host. She shared the details of checking in and other useful information in advance of my stay which was really helpful. She was also very responsive when I let her know I had checked in. The setting of the airfield was so peaceful and I enjoyed beautiful views in the sunshine. I then had the pleasure of a gorgeous breakfast at the Happy Cafe downstairs after I had checked out. I stayed here to catch the some of the music festival in Epworth and I will definitely be back to stay for any other local events. Thank you Amanda! 😊

Shona is such a lovely person who made us feel very welcome. The room we stayed in felt private and homely with plenty of space. The bed had a comfortable mattress and we slept well, which was helped by the thoughtful addition of night time teabags in the room. I have never used AirB&B before but this experience has made me look forward to trying it again. A nice chat when we wanted to chat, but privacy in the room. To sum up staying with Shona I would say it felt like staying with a friendly relative.

The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower with glass doors, a sleek sink cabinet with storage below, and a large mirror mounted on the wall. Neutral grey tiles adorn the walls, and complimentary toiletries are neatly arranged on the countertop.

The apartment is in one the most happening place of Doncaster, everything is within 2-5 minutes walking distance pubs, grocery stores, Frenchgate, coach and railway station. Kitchen is well equipped and view from the window is good too. Only negatives are lack of cupboards to store clothes and since it's a road facing flat there can be a lot of disturbance specially on weekends. Overall the stay was comfortable.

Jayne was so warm and welcoming and made me feel at home right away. Her beautiful garden was an added bonus. Another highlight was the excellent walk-in shower. The room was really clean, quiet and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others
