Is the last cottage on the way out on a headland in Vittsjö's lake area, so here you have the peace and quiet, but are still only a walk from shops and trains. The forest is close by and there are lovely hiking areas. Good fishing just meters from the front door. Here you wake up with a view of a beautiful lake! Enjoy the starry sky and the owls' hooting in the evening. From November 1, 2025, we will change one bedroom to a lounge and only accommodate two guests.

Palmhuset at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the north part of Hjelmsjöborg's park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stuccos, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a paved patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjöns nice tennis courts. In the winter months it can get a little cold, then you have to curl up on the couch and light a fire in the fireplace.

Here is a simple lifestyle: the food is cooked over an open fire or in the outdoor kitchen, drinking water is collected from the pump house, which is bathed outdoors or in the lake and toilet visits are done on luxury das. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the cottage.

Torpet is located near the forest on the outskirts of Visseltofta a small cozy village with church and nice playground at the homestead and near Helge river. Bathing area with beach and jetty is located in Vesljunga 5 km away. There are farm shops in the area. Excursion destination: Moose safari in Markaryd, Brio lekoseum in Osby, Ikea museum in Älmhult. There are 6 beds, but the house is best suited in size for 4 adults or a family with children.
