A beautiful, quirky little Grade II Listed medieval house in Old Town Hastings on a picturesque road, a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and just next to Foyle's War location.. Home of Mark Eason and filled with examples of his art (including oil paintings of fish caught by local fishermen, which he paints in the summerhouse at the end of the garden). Two double bedrooms with double beds; there is wifi but no telly, just a cosy place to stay. The address is 11 Croft Road (not 9 - 11).

A self-contained, private, cosy, romantic hideaway. Double doors at the front open to a small west-facing courtyard, perfect for afternoon tea or a sunset g&t. The main room is large and civilised with loads of books, prints on the walls, Jenga, Scrabble. No TV. There is a double bed, a dining area, a sofa, and 100% wool carpet.
