Vacation rentals with beach access in Hastings District

We have just returned home after a week at Beach apartment. The location was ideal, just across the road from the beach & an easy level walk into Hastins. The apartment was spotless & equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Huge windows overlooking the sea made the apartment very light & airy. The view was wonderful being so close to the sea. Communication with Sarah was excellent with any queries we had being answered promptly. There is no parking at the property but we could stop to unload the luggage & Sarah had suggested locations to park which were within 5 minutes walk. We didn't need to pay as plenty of free roadside parking within that 5 minutes walk. Plenty of good place's to eat close by. We found the bus service in the area to be very good & used it for days out to Rye & Eastbourne. Rye is a very pretty town, great for a day out. We had a great holiday & wouldn't hesitate to return to Sara's apartment if we return to Hastins in the future.

It was a lovely apartment, beautifully clean, and with all the amenities we needed. Low ceilings in one bedroom and doorways, but you can tell that from the photos. A useful thing to know is that the two bedrooms are railroad style; in order to reach the double bedroom you have to pass through the two twin rooms (they're separated by the dressing room, but the stairway is in one room and accessible only through that room). This might not be a problem for a family, but we were adult friends sharing a place, and if we'd known that one room would have no privacy, we'd have made different plans. Otherwise, everything about this stay was perfect, and I give it five stars for that. Thank you!

Had a lovely few days at the apartment . Easy to find with great directions and communication from Wendy . Fantastic location , close to everything loved the old town and fish and chips at Maggies . The apartment itself was very well equipped with everything that was needed during the stay , lovely and clean . Overall a lovely trip , would highly recommend 🤩

Stayed with my adult daughter and my maltese terrier fifi from Thursday to Sunday last week .. two min walk to old town which was buzzing with bars , pubs n restaurants .. lots dog friendly too .. the bakery 2 shops away from the gallery was to die for .. Jane kindly left a bottle of wine , milk and croissants which was such a nice touch .. we had beautiful weather too which was a bonus !! Thankyou Jane for a truley wonderful stay in your gallery garden flat we loved it and the lil courtyard garden was lovely in the mornings having coffee outside .. honestly too many positives to mention !! Comfortable, with a great view over Dungeness and its lighthouses. Close to 2 good pubs and the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and RSPB Dungeness. Cooking facilities are limited but otherwise the cabin is attractive and well-equipped with handy parking.

A lovely place by the sea. The host communicated well and was very responsive. Thank you for this great stay.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and promenade. Plenty of variety in the many local restaurants and cafes nearby. Hastings pier and town is a short walk away.

Exceeded our expectations despite being beautifully presented. They bought us a bottle of champagne for our birthday and were extremely flexible and accommodating. Loved our stay thank you Marta and team.

Just experienced the most perfect 3 day stay, in an absolutely ideal location in Rye. A spotlessly clean, stunning character filled property with low beams, wonky walls and sloping floors, which all add to it's wonderful charm. A very responsive, helpful and kind host, who really wants you to enjoy your time there. No questions too hard and always a very warm prompt response from Becky. We would 100% recommend this property and host, if your looking to book the perfect getaway in Rye. Tracy & Marks property was very spacious and just what we needed for a weekend get away with our friends and their families. We traveled with 3 children under 2 and luckily Tracy & Mark were very kind and flexible with our check in to work around nap/ feeding times which was a real help. The house itself has everything you need in the kitchen, which looks out onto a lovely garden, the dining room next door was very big and a great place for cooking group dinners, the lounge included a small pool table and a darts board, they also had a great selection of board games. The location is just a 4 minute drive from the beach front in Hastings, which had some great shops, & really lovely places to grab a bite to eat and drink. We had a fantastic stay, thank you both!

Jon's place is a stunning town house covering 6 levels, with the higher floors giving a fantastic Sea & Old Town view. Parking is available but very tight, however this is to be expected given the location within the old town. It is only a few minutes walk from the array of shop's, cafe's, bars and restaurants. Jon & Ben was both very helpful and responsive to all messages & queries (we tried to keep them minimal). Thanks for a lovely stay, highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Carol‘s house. It was beautifully located with stunning views on the sea. The house was very nice with everything needed. We did not miss anything. The bed was very comfortable. The parking situation was also very good. We always found a parking directly at the house. We always walked into town which was very easy but of course on the way back it‘s a walk up the hill but absolutely fine. We very much enjoyed our stay at the house.

Really lovely to stay here facing the sea. It’s close to cafes and art shops, also some nice restaurants. Apartment is clean and nice, got that nice vacation vibe.

Great apartment, very warm and welcoming and spotlessly clean. It’s ideally situated for walking into Bexhill town centre and the beach is moments away. Would highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Andrea we hope to return soon.

Lovely apartment right in the heart of Hastings Old Town. Really clean and cosy and Sue could not have been any more helpful. Thank you for the oat milk - hope you enjoy the nice chocolate we forgot to take out the fridge!

We stayed here only to do the Seven Sisters hike it was a place just for a sleep and to refresh . We arrived Friday night and it was very easy to find and get in . For anyone wanting to do the hike it was such a perfect location . Morrison was also just minutes walk away , and the beach is on the doorstep ready to start our hike. Bus was also easy to use and ideal . Jade was really helpful when I reached out to ask questions . Highly recommend and her place was spot on . I was worried it being a basement apartment but it was quiet and ideal for us who like the quietness .

Richard was a wonderful host - so helpful and responsive and gave us lots of recommendations. We had a really fantastic stay. The flat was bigger than anticipated! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking to do the Seven Sisters hike! Thank you Richard :)

Anna’s flat is perfect for a seaside break. Amazing view overlooking the sea, easy access to the beach and promenade into Hastings. Flat looks just like it does in pictures, is very clean, quiet and had everything we needed for the weekend. Lots of nearby cafes and restaurants within minutes and free on street parking available. Anna was very responsive.

This was our fourth stay here at David's Annexe which really speaks for itself. It's the gift that keeps giving each time we return. The annexe was spotlessly clean as always ,with all aspects of our stay catered for.We wanted for nothing in the chalet as everything had been thought out carefully. Even dog blankets and doggy treats for those who bring a dog,although we didnt. The weather was beautiful every day,which was a bonus. The bed was so comfortable,and the kitchen area was superb. The milk in the fridge which was waiting for us on arrival,along with the yummy biscuits were really appreciated after a long journey. David and Lisa our hosts as always were more than happy to help out with any request,always with a genuine smile that made such a difference. We want to mention Reggie their lovely dog,who always made us welcome when we sat out on David's private beach on the seats he so kindly made available to us for free use. So in a word it was Utopia.
