What a stunning location and perfect house. The plate glass windows gave us a great view of the valley and loch. The bedrooms being at either end of the living space was good for privacy. Just what we were hoping for. Thank you

Beautiful and cozy cottage. Upon arrival, a surprise awaits you in the form of a gift basket - that was great!!! We really liked it here. Beautiful view of the sea and the mountains, it would be even better if there was a path from the cottage to the sea.

This was undoubtedly the best experience (and accommodation) I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Sophie and Callum were absolutely fantastic hosts. Their house is beautiful, and the yurt is truly something special. First of all, it’s so thoughtfully designed and well organized. It has everything you might need — and more — and it was spotless. It’s very spacious, and the bathroom and kitchen are simply adorable. Second, everything was clearly explained, and Sophie and Callum left us fresh breakfast in the kitchen every morning. You get the unique feeling of being surrounded by nature, yet with total comfort. Sophie also gave us plenty of great recommendations for things to do and see, as well as excellent tips for nearby restaurants (listen to her — her suggestions are gold! And if you get the chance, have lunch at the Stein Inn — the seafood was sensational!). Overall, you can really feel how much love Sophie and Callum have poured into the space. Blossom cottage was a beautiful and peaceful location with lots of nice walks and views from the front door. Roag is a small hamlet with no shops but Dunvegan is in driving distance with shops, a bakery and some lovely restaurants and cafes too. The cottage was the perfect base to explore the island and made for a very relaxing holiday.

Richards place is set in some absolutely stunning scenery. Perfect for the dog , hidden beaches , lochs and hills. You will need a car .

Beautiful house with stunning surroundings. Easy to walk everywhere. To the brewery, ti rhe local shop and pub and to the boat tha cross to Skye. I have felt at home. Murdoch was very communicative and wanted to make sure we have all the amenities we needed. I cannot fault our stay.

This location was fabulous. The view and the serenity were real. If you don't like peaceful and quiet surroundings, or if your group is not prone to be, then you might want to choose somewhere else. I would suggest planning to stay 2 nights to appreciate the area.

Such a fun stay on this sweet island! This yurt is a little out of town, but worth it for the true Island of Lewis country feeling. Yurt is well equipped and the owners are available and helpful.

This place will never be forgotten by my wife and I and our three 20+ children. Words can’t describe the beauty, magic, and comfort of this one of a kind accommodation. Loved our stay in Balallan. The house is perfectly located for exploring both Lewis and Harris. The swing seat overlooking the loch was a highlight of our stay. Many thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts too. Much appreciated.

Stunning place. So comfortable and amazing views. Spacious and full of light it felt much bigger than it was helped by such very clever design. Sauna was a lovely added extra option too. Friendly and helpful host too. Highly recommend.

As others have said, this felt like a luxury stay. Very high end finish throughout. Kitchen super well equipped. Washer and dryer very much appreciated in the middle of a trip. Sky tv was a bonus. Although on the main road, this is very quiet and hardly any passing traffic. Nearby is Croft 36 and Isle of Harris Brewery are great if looking for local food. Great that our little dog was welcome too!

Susan was extremely helpful and very friendly to deal with. The property is tucked away in a nice private area and has everything you need for your stay. I loved the paintings on the walls and bathroom, incredible talent! The area is outstanding and there are some amazing beaches, scenery and walks on the door step, Susan was very helpful in pointing out where everything is and making recommendations for seeing the best of the Island. Thank you for all your help Susan!

Magical! That’s the only truthful way of describing this place. It is extraordinarily beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. You’ll have world wonders at your door step, but you might just want to stay and enjoy the place given how magical it feels. If that was not good enough, Kathryn and Angus are the most lovely and generous host you can ever get, making you feel right at home in their beautiful forest. I’ll be coming back as long as I can!!!

Enjoyed our stay at Rodel Valley log cabins. The cabin was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The views were great and it was quiet. The enclosed garden was good for our dog. Overalll a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and would definitely recommend these cabins.

We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

The house is very modern, clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the living room was lovely to relax in. The kitchen is a good size and very well equipped with the added bonus of a utility room. The house is in a beautiful part of Harris and it was easy to get to other parts of Harris and to Lewis by car. There’s a small but well stocked shop close by.

Wow!! What a beautiful spot! Betty’s lookout was perfectly outfitted for our party of three and we enjoyed both the cabin, the hot tub, the wood burning stove and the views!!! We were so lucky to get the pleasure of the incredible food, service and ambience of Monkstadt 1745 for dinner while there. Making our bucket list trip to Scotland and Isle of Skye so very special. Thank you for an incredible experience.

Lovely stay and fantastic host. Beautiful area and cosy cabin. The perfect place to relax. Had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. Only thing I would change would be to provide a fridge as all of our food/drinks did not fit in the cool box provided, apart from that could not fault this place!

Fantastic location that can’t be beat. The unit was modern and comfortable with everything we needed to compliment our travels around the Isle of Skye. Highly recommend.

Words cannot do justice to this amazing property; it has to be experienced to be believed. Terrific view of the bay just steps out the back door, yet near the center of town. Extremely quiet. Spacious. Comfortable. Fantastic master bath and bedroom, with two tubs, two sinks, and a wonderful shower. An office for work or reading. Powder room and storage room. Good washer and dryer. A good kitchen and dining area. Comfortable sitting room with a telescope for viewing the bay and its ptarmigan inhabitants. Great tv and internet. Separate sauna building with a view of the bay. Amenities galore, including boots for walking on the beach, And the most thoughtful attention to details that you'll ever encounter. Also, the hosts are extremely generous. It's simply lovable.

Wow what a stayer had at Gemma’s beautiful cottage in a stunning location. From the booking to the stay Gemma was fantastically communicative and proactive. When it came to doing stuff the “bible” that Gemma ha put together is amazing and made our stay that much better as she had itineraries to make the most of our stay! Thanks Gemma!

We had a really good time, relaxing, quiet and a hot Spa with a beautiful view. This is the place to calm down and relax, in between we had some really good chats with Kenny and if we plan for the Hebrides again, we will be there for sure!
