Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Harris County

I travel quite a bit and this is for sure one of the better units that I’ve rented. Very clean home, roomy, 3 bathrooms, 2 car garage, privacy, etc. One of the places where you’re walk inside and say, “that’s nice… this is nice too”.

We had an amazing stay for our son’s family leave at Ft Benning. The home is a mix of Southern charm, comfort, and peaceful seclusion. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have hoped for. The setting is serene and surrounded by nature. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Columbus. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

Darel was an amazing host! His home was perfect for our visit. We enjoyed how peaceful it was. The home was well stocked and Darel made sure we had everything we needed. He was the kindest and most generous host we have ever had! I highly recommend and will definitely stay again when visiting the area!

We were in the area for my son’s wedding and the cabin was just perfect! Annah brought down an iron and ironing board,special hangers and installed hooks so we could manage the wedding clothes and checked often the first day to make sure everything was the way we needed! I didn’t notice there was no grill and a kitchenette but that was on me although she offered to try and bring a grill but there was no time to cook anyway! I highly recommend this place. It’s cozy and comfortable and the fire pit was awesome!

The Boondocks looks like the pictures but BETTER. There is nature surrounding the house and a view of the lake from every window. Peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for. I hope we can come back soon!

What a great place to enjoy with family . I came for a family reunion . My family and I really enjoyed the dock , fishing and kayaks. My daughter caught her first catfish from the dock . She was so excited she hasn't stop talking about it ;and now I see Florida fishing licences in my near future . The home itself was thoughtfully planned out for family stays. Lots of actives to keep all ages entertain . What was so impressive to me was the kitchen , it was fully stocked with everything you need to cook family meals. Any cooking needs you have , you don't have to worry about not having what you need here. I also loved , loved , loved the fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. We are already talking about booking again next year for our family reunion .

Peaceful tranquility!!! The location is so close to enjoy the city but far enough out of the way that you can feel lost in the Georgia country side. It radiated a peaceful and relaxing vibe for the whole family. The hosts are responsive and respectful.

We had a great stay! The lake house was a great getaway, and we had lots of space to be comfortable with 5 people plus a dog, and guests who stayed elsewhere but often hung out at the lake house with us. The house was clean, the view of the lake was beautiful, and the enclosed deck was a highlight of our stay. Definitely not a make or break of the trip, but something to be aware of is the amount of dogs in the neighborhood. They barked quite a bit and were out in their yards most of the time. It didn’t detract from our trip or rest, but with a reactive dog ourselves, we had many training moments with her on walks as dogs barked at her and she got to show self control. As long as you don’t mind lots of canine opinions, this is a wonderful place to stay!

We came up for the softball tournament. Our girl came from Oregon. It also happened to be my birthday. We we were able to bring our doggies which made it that much better. Dogs were comfortable and so were we. I do wish there were more comforters though. You can never have too many blankets. Area was quiet and calm. There is a park nearby. Everything is pretty much nearby. Found the best thrift store too. “Vintageville” & “The Vibe on 6th”! Thank you Carol!

Lovely, historic home in a beautiful neighborhood. The location is superb. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and retail are an easy walk from the house. One criticism—the house is a duplex and if both sides are rented it can be loud. In my opinion, the need to be mindful of noise should be made more emphatically in the notes sent to renters.

Second time staying here this past year. Easily accessible to amenities. Host always quickly responsive. She was able to accommodate extra days when asked. No issues at all. Highly recommend.

This was a very clean and spacious place. Nick and Shan did a great job setting it up with everything needed. Would recommend them highly!!

We had a great stay and I would definitely love to visit again! The place was beautifully decorated, clean and close to everything downtown!

My husband, two dogs, and I stayed here for about a month while we waited for our rental home to become available. We LOVED this Airbnb and felt very much at home. It was very clean and quite roomy and had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. If ever in the Columbus, GA area, please consider renting this Airbnb from Carol!

I would love to stay at the property again. The stand in host was helpful, pleasant and quick responses. The place made you feel right at home. No need to bring essential items, all provided. You only need your hygiene and bathing needs. Extra towels for the beach if you go. Kitchen fully stocked with plates, glassware, pots, pans, bowels, coffee maker (ground coffee). Washer abs dryer works. There is liberty pool about 5 min away $5 park $7 per person $3 kids. It was clean and awesome.! My family truly enjoyed.

Everything about it was fantastic and it's located right across the street from the park which for my son and my grandkids made it all the more better. We had remote control cars and remote control planes and we had all the room to do everything we wanted to do.

This is home has plenty of room, great location, clean, across from The Pool. Close to the entrance to Callaway Gardens and Downtown. Can’t wait to return!! Thanks for being a great host.

the house was spacious and clean. I would recommend this house for large family gatherings. I would say that the couches can be updated. the couches sink in and sit too low to the floor. the toilets can be updated. the toilets are too low. not good for elderly and guest with bad knees... needing help getting off toilet is no fun..other than that, it's a good location for family gatherings

We loved our stay here at this beautiful home. The host was very responsive to our questions and helpful with tips for use of pool area and BBQ. We enjoyed the pool area all to ourselves and our guests for a BBQ. Also this place was very well stocked in the kitchen with dishes and utensils so it felt like home. They even provided ziploc bags and that was very useful. It had the most comfortable beds and pillows that I want to buy the exact pillow top mattress! We enjoyed it so much and just wish we had a longer stay to enjoy it fully. There was so much space in each bedroom and private bathrooms for each. We would return in a heartbeat if we come to the area again!
