We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

Hadde et flott opphold i hytta over en helg. Bare noen minutters kjøretur fra Mikkelparken, som var hovedmålet med turen vår til Kinsarvik. Hytta ligger idyllisk til blant eplehagene, og jeg fikk noen rolige stunder med fiske nede ved fjorden, mens guttene våre koste seg med å rulle nedover bakken og hoppe på trampolinen som var tilgjengelig for oss. Nydelig hytte og omgivelser – anbefales på det varmeste!

We had a great time in the cabin of Heidi and Tor Arne. It is beautifully located and has a great hiking trail next to it. The cabin is nicely decorated and absolutely spotless. The communication was very friendly and Heidi's recommendations for activities in the neighborhood were great. We can highly recommend this cabin.

The house is warm and offers breathtaking views. It is well-equipped with everything we needed, and the location is just a 10-minute drive from Trolltunga and close to Odda. Our host, Airin, provided us with a warm welcome and was very responsive to our needs throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the four days we spent here and hope to visit again in the future.

Das Haus ist richtig schön! Einzeln stehend auf der Farm, hat man einen guten Überblick über das Tal, die Kühe, den Garten. Unser Kleiner hat es geliebt, vom Fenster aus die Kühe zu beobachten. 😁 Im Haus ist alles, was man braucht- sogar Waschmittel, Spülmittel, Eier aus der eigenen Haltung, Kaffee... alles war da. Es ist charmant eingerichtet, Bad und Küche sind modern und sehr schön. Wir haben es zudem geliebt, den Kamin morgens anzumachen. Das Feuerholz wurde uns bereit gestellt. 😊 Das Haus war locker groß genug für uns drei, die meiste Zeit waren wir aber eh draußen: Entweder im Hof: Am Sandkasten, bei den Tieren oder bei den vielen Spielgeräten, die vorhanden sind. oder in der Umgebung: Bergen ist definitiv ein Besuch wert, zusätzlich hat es uns auch die Insel Osterøy selbst angetan. Es gibt richtig schön Wanderungen auf der Insel, ruhige Orte und eine unfassbar schöne Landschaft. Es war wunderschön und wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für alles!

When we left Marit's home, we all felt a little emotional. The trip had been such a great time of rest and adventure, and the place felt like home. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home, which saved a lot of money, and we were also able to do laundry, which was incredibly helpful since we had packed very small bags. It would be impossible to describe how beautiful the home and surrounding countryside is - I live in a farming town in the mountains and it's hard to impress me with natural beauty, but Vik took our breath away. We listened to the bells of the sheep every morning and evening and hiked in the mountains above the rental. We watched local people play soccer and children go to school and boats come and go. We drove to Flam (beautiful, but Vik is 1000% more lovely), took a ferry to Balestrand (worth it), and fell in love with the drive over the tundra above Vik. Marit was a perfect, warm, kind, lovely host and we can't recommend the rental enough. We miss it already.

We stayed at Ole's house for two nights as a family. It was fairly convenient for us to explore nearby tourist attractions. House offers all you expect and some more. Feels cozy to have a warm stove while resting in the evenings.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Comfortable, stunning views, and unique. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, and to use as a base for great hiking nearby. Nils was very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in this house, right in the middle of nature. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our meals, and the cozy atmosphere made our evenings especially enjoyable. The heat pump kept the place warm and comfortable, which was a great plus. Overall, a great spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

I loved my stay at the house. An idyllic village, lots of beautiful hiking opportunities. Easy access by car, and not too far from towns with larger stores. Great amenities with high speed internet, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Good pressure in the shower. The place has a really nice wood deck at the back, to soak in the sun.

Absolutely amazing accommodation, in the middle of the mountains, by the lake, on a farm among animals. The house was big, beautifully renovated and everything was perfectly prepared, comfortable and clean. Zofia is very nice and communicative. It was a pity that we were only passing through and could only stay one night, maybe we will come back sometime.🙏 Thanx a lot, maybe nextime. 🥰

Man fühlt sich in der Hütte von Kristin und Morten gleich wie zu Hause. Sie ist urgemütlich und es fehlt an nichts. Die Fußbodenheizung im Bad, dem Flur und unterem Schlafzimmer war schnell sehr warm und das Wohnzimmer lässt sich mit dem Ofen in kürzester Zeit sehr gut heizen (unsere Tagestemperaturen lagen unter und um 10° in Mai). Feuerholz gibt es umsonst und auch das e-Auto kann man kostenlos laden, wenn man einen Adapter für 230 Volt Haushaltssteckdose hat. Beides eine wirklich sehr nette Geste! Kristin antwortet sehr zügig und Morten stand für unsere vielen Fragen immer geduldig zur Verfügung. Die Katze und die Hühner, die frei herumlaufen haben uns auch viel Freude bereitet. Die Lage ist perfekt um von Voss bis Odda und Bergen unendliche Möglichkeiten für Tagestrips zu haben. Wir hoffen, noch einmal das Vergnügen zu haben, auf ihrem Hof einige Zeit verbringen zu dürfen! This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

Trygve was lovely! The house we stayed in was spacious, beautiful, and cozy! The walk around the property was so wonderful and peaceful. Tryge was so kind and friendly to us when he showed us around his family farm. We hope to return soon. Highly recommended visiting!

Although we only spent one night at the accommodation, we took a lovely walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Sunniva welcomed us with a warm and cozy home — the fireplace was already crackling when we arrived, filled with freshly added firewood. She even showed us a newborn lamb, which was such a special experience. The place has a very charming and inviting atmosphere.

Es war sehr schön und nett bei Helen, das blöken der süßen Lämmchen fehlt uns nun ein wenig. Herrlicher Ausblick über den Fjord, sehr idyllisch. Wir haben viele der von Helen empfohlenen Wanderungen unternommen, die Umgebung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und verfügt über alles was man braucht um ein paar Tage abzuschalten und zu genießen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter, Helen ist sehr gastfreundlich, wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind.

What a lovely stay! The farm is so peaceful. We went with friends and our 13 month old daughter who loved seeing the sheep, and running around the yard. The place was fantastic for kids (high chair, crib, toys). We had the best time walking around the property, cooking delicious food, going in the hot tub and we even took the boat out for a special trip! There’s a sauna 10 minutes down the road which was a treat. Easy 1 hour drive from Bergen. Highly recommend!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

Great location and very nice surrounding. There were odd flies inside the property but it is end of summer and it is in the nature. Lovely Jacuzzi and sauna.

Veldig fin plass. Heilt perfekt for barnefamiliar, med mykje å finne på for liten og stor. Nydeleg og skjerma plass, stille og roleg. Veldig hyggelege og hjelpsamme vertar. Vi kjem gjerne tilbake!

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.
