The cabin is surrounded by woods on all sides, with plenty of open area for outdoor activities. My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

Wonderful setting for a couple’s getaway. It beautifully combines rustic charm with modern comforts; updated appliances, a stylish bathroom, and cozy furnishings throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind, though the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow, so keep that in mind. We loved soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. One of the highlights was renting kayaks from The Minnow Bucket, which delivered them right to us! We enjoyed paddling and fishing on Lake McGinnis and biking through the peaceful surrounding area.

The place was wonderful, clean, very cozy and private. We were there for a couple of days and it was truly relaxing. The house was well equipped with necessary supplies and it lacked nothing. We used the hot tub, fire pit and the cycles. All were in excellent condition. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

Tessa was an amazing host for our long term need. She was always quick to respond when the power went out and when it was snowing for the driveway go be cleared. It was truly a home away from our home. She even asked if we wanted her to load some pictures on her digital picture frame. Thank you again, our family greatly appreciated it!

I was staying in town for a dog show and Susan was very accommodating to allow myself and a good friend to stay with her dogs as well. Dog show days are very long and draining so being so close to the show location and having great amenities to rest and enjoy afterwards were great.
