Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

A completely unique location for swimming, sun (hopefully), rest and opportunities for beautiful nature. Charming Kuskbostaden in Hajstorp at Göta Canal

Hajstorp is an idyll at Göta Kanal, about 5 km north of Töreboda. In Hajstorp there is a cafe and hostel and many life lovers are looking for a place to come during the summer months. At the southwestern end of Hajstorp lies Kanalingenjörsvillan, which was the official residence of the channel engineers between 1902 and 1977. Today, the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the big garden is the little charming bush home. It is from the middle of the 19th century but has been carefully equipped with toilet and small kitchen/kitchenette.

Cozy cottage by Töreboda golf course

If you want calm and quiet to recharge your batteries or simply just ’be’ without a lot of people around you, this home is just perfect. This cozy newly renovated little cottage with toilet and shower is located 2km from Töreboda golf club and bordering the nature reserve, Myrhults mosse and close to Tiveden National Park. There is a double bed in the cottage and a sleeping house with two single beds out in the yard. On the newly built terrace you can sit and listen to the birds and tranquility.

Söker ni en lantlig miljö med fantastiskt utsikt över Vättern? Då har ni hittat rätt! Känner inte till många stugor i Sverige där man kan se tre olika län från en och samma plats. Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

The sea cottage

Welcome to our little summer paradise. For many years we have had this cabin as our "breathing hole". Nowadays we are pensioners and live at the farm from which this plot was cut off. The cottage is located by the lake Viken, its own jetty, small rowing boat and raft are included. A guest cottage with several beds and equally nice views is also available. Private shallow beach with beautiful sunset. We live 4 km from cottage.

Newly renovated year-round cottage with 2 rooms, kitchen. wc, shower, and terrace. Here, up to 6 adults live next door to the sheep pasture and forest and are welcomed by the farm's both sociable herding dogs. In the sheep farm with its own farm shop, you are close to the forest and lake. Tivedens National Park, Karlsborg Fortress, Göta Canal, Forsviks Bruk, etc., are some of the sights within a 30 minute drive.

Beautiful, spacious summerhouse in privacy near a forest landscape with a touch of wilderness, just 5 minutes walk from lake Viken with sandy beach and bath bridge. This house is perfect for a calm and cosy holiday and as a base when you visit Sweden. Near Göta Kanal, Tiveden National Park, Hjo and Karlsborg. We have the opportunity to offer cleaning but you need to make a pre-booking. 1450 SEK.
